If you could change things in one piece what would you?

Alright i love one piece but i would changes somethings if i could (though i love one piece and i am fine with everything)

I would change 3 things:

1. pell dying…
2. konis's father dying....
3. The battle with luffy and enel.

Insted of it being two fights i would have had luffy one the first one. There would still be the thing will the bell and enel would be a lot stornger. The only problem with the first fight where enel won IMO is that he restorted to kind of cheap tactics. Luffy was basically kicking his ass all the way. So i would have them fight and have luffy finish off him like the way he did in the second fight except with just rifle, not golden rifle.

though i love one piece the way it is and i did like the first fight with luffy. IF you could change anything what would you.

Conis's father, I was expecting Pell's return, but Pagaya or what's his name. He survived that. Pell was a great warrior so when he survived it was OK with me, but Conis's father he need's to die.

I expected Paguya to live, actually, but that was because of Pell, who I didn't expect to live. I still feel like it was a cop-out. Other than that, I wouldn't change anything.

I do beleive that One Piece is perfect; while Pell's returning kind of ruined his sacrifice I can live with it. OP doesn't need to be changed at all.

True, there may be one or two things that come to mind that I would like to have come undone differently (Pell comes to mind), but I'm not about to start complaining. There's too much of a Butterfly Effect to worry about when you change the past, man. It gets in yer heeeead, man. The ultimate example I like to use about changing the past: Say you went back in time and killed Hitler before the Holocaust happened. Maybe a relative of Hitler's is driving to the funeral when they run over a kid's dog. That kid grows up cynical instead of optimistic, and gets into the habit of robbing stores for fun. He robs some guy's store, who is in an awful funk the rest of the day and spreads his bad mood to all he speaks with. He quits his job in a fit of rage and takes the first job he finds - a waiter. The job opening is filled, meaning if your mom and dad met each other working in that restaurant, they never get to meet and you never exist.

Slippery slope fallacy and all that, but long story short - if it ain't broken, don't fix it.

While I love OP I don't say it's all perfect when it isn't and as god-like as Oda is, some things like Pell living…just sucked so bad I can't put it into words. The whole sacrifice, it was a great moment and totally ruined by the fact, that he was basically fine...
I mean...there is not a single villain I consider a real threat, because we all now, in the end it turns out, that they all survived.
So...there is one thing I sure would change: Let people die.
I know, Luffy woudln't be the great hero he is, if he killed all that soldiers at EL who were only doing their job (a job which makes them the good guys, and I'm sure some no-name-soldier truly believes he IS doing the right thing for the world), but he is a pirate after all, not Superman.

Nami's boobs growing throughout every season. By the time 7th movie hits… WOOWE! O_O But I wouldn't really want that to happen, as it would disappoint all the fanboys.

I never liked the name Zoro. Zolo is much better.

I like one piece the way it is.. pell, pagaya and anybody else surviving was a disappointment.. but who knows.. they might appear some time in the future (not unknown chars like those in EL and in whisky peak)… pell surviving while chaka and the others were thinking that he was dead might mean that instead of returning to alabasta, he went to travel somewhere, possibly following the SHs.. i dont know.. but there might be something to it.. >.<

Don't think so, as far as I remember he was shown in the Sidestory of the guy from skypia who ended up in Alabasta…

Damn, forgot about all the people living. Pell, carrying a bomb that big, should have been ripped to pieces. Gan Forr, taking a 30-mil volt shock to the head, as well as being old, should have died. Crocodile probably should have died, as well as Arlong. If Lucci doesn't die at the end of Enies Lobby, that would suck. He's a great badass, but him surviving with injuries and being captured would be much lamer than him being killed by say, a Gear 4?

It's just…well...there's no suspense for the future, because we know that every side character and even all the villains will live.

I still don't know why he couldn't kill Gan Forr! He's a cool character, but after helping Chopper, he had no importance to the story (someone else could have become God of Skypiea) He's presumably in his 60-70's, and he took a 30 Million volt shock directly to the head. Most people don't survive regular lightning bolts unless they get immediate treatment, yet this old man who recently suffered injuries is able to survive a hit to the head. No chance in hell.

Pell, though again a very cool character, should have died. Bomb big enough to destroy Alubarna from a distance should have blown even a Devil Fruit user to pieces. Yet he survives with barley any injuries.

Watch, the next side story will be about how Kumadori survives

In the manga and in the anime, Pagaya comes back and everyones like "If your still alive, why did it seem like you were dead" and then he says something like "Im very sorry" or something like that

As for actual deaths, I wish that Saul, Olivia, and Clover didn't die. Another thing is to take out that anoying "SAAA SAAA SAAAA~!" from Bishounen Wanze.

Another thing would be, all these horrible fillers, like the rainbow mist arc. If the anime artists wanted to create something that would waste time, they should have done more manga cover eps, like with hachi and Ace. What I really want to see now is Gedatsu/Alabasta crossover, Ace's hunt for blackbeard, and of course Ms. Golden Week's plan "meet baroque." I don't know why, but I just really want to see rainbow of dreams :ninja: :laugh:

Her Dad is still alive, he was only dead for most of the Skypia Arc, but lived at the end.
And I'm sure Arlong isn't dead, if Oda didn't kill all the others, I'm sure Arlong is also just hurt, not dead.

1.Luffy able to hurt the CP9 before Aqua lauguar(mabye a bit)
2.Usopp not leaving the crew,but then went along with Sanji.
3.Sanji and Zoro having better relationship.
4.Luffy and Wiper VS Enel

I'll take a "directorial stance" on this as if I was commissioned to adapt the OP story.

1.More deaths. Characters that often do almost die would more than likely actually bite it.
-Pell
-Many of Zoro's opponents
-Kamakiri,Laki,Genbou,Yama etc.

2. I would trim some of the more dull fights. Volume 40 for example…..snip snip.

3. I would completely redo the Buggy arc.

yeah, i'll admit i'm kinda disappointed that Oda didn't explore his character more, I was actually expecting him to have a more significant role other than being a damn scapegoat for Iceburg (and he got shigan-ed for it too >.>;…) I think if Paulie did in fact have a bigger role and was more powerful than he let on, I'd still be more for him joining the Straw Hats. In fact, I would've loved to see him kicking some ass at Enis Lobby alongside the Straw Hats... but oh well. Its Oda's story, not mine.

y'know, i also gotta say that even though I hated Franky at first, Oda did an awesome job developing his character to where you just gotta love the guy as the story goes on. Its like now, I actually would be pretty happy if he joined Luffy's crew. He seems to have a lot under his belt as far as abilities go.
I can't think of anything I'd change with him, other than him beating up Usopp which I still don't like, but its part of the story so I can't change that.

I still think the story is just fine even though some past characters don't die... its manga, they can survive almost anything. >.>;

With Arlong, I just want closure. Is he dead? Fine, let's see a cutscene of two gravestones, one with a pair of teeth hung on it, one with a black belt tied around it. Is he alive? Give us a single clue. I'm sort of hoping we'll see him emaciated and imprisioned in Enies Lobby, or when we get to Gyojin Island. On a related scene, where did Chuu go?

I found Whiskey Peak's pacing excessive (but it could be the dub). I wanted to know more about the BW members then, not later.

Kuro's plan seems too complex for credibility. He can stage a murder, but he can't forge a will?

Wapol's character design didn't feel cohesive to me, like they added features on and on til they got a worthwhile figure.

I'd go for Paulie over Franky because I just find Franky too damned over-the-top weird.

How people get stronger, it seems people like Luffy and Sanji get stronger by doing basically nothing while Zoro trains alot of the time and increases about as much as the lazy ones.

-ALL Zoro's opponents should die,Luffy is sorta the pure hearted hero,but a swordsman fighting to the death and constantly sparing his blood thirsty opponents just seems dumb. Some should live..like the ones that end up with a mutual respect for zoro,but most should be slain. Especially since Zoro's the group's resident badass.
-Usopp needs much..MUCH more screentime.:D

Right now, Pell is crying, because every night, when he falls asleep, he has the same nightmare of being crushed to death by Al Kahn's giant hand while random fodder and flashback victims all look down on him, chanting "you should have died, you should have died, you should have died…" until he wakes up screaming. His life is a hell, it's a much greater sacrifice this way than if he'd actually bought the farm.
