Perfect climatact

We've seen Nami use a few new skills with the perfect climatact, but mostly only the Thunder Ball related ones. We haven't seen Nami use any attacks related to the Cool or Heat Balls yet, except Thunderbolt Tempo which uses all 3. Also, it seems at least the Thunder Ball is strong enough now to be used as an attack. What do people think about how strong the other Balls have been powered up? And what other attacks might we see?

Just as a reference, the skills she's used so far are:
Thunderbolt Tempo
Thunder Charge
Swing Arm

We've yet to see:
Mirage Tempo
Fog Tempo
Cyclone Tempo (I think this could potentially be a very powerful attack now)
Tornado Tempo
(and the joke tempos like Rain Tempo, Fine Tempo, etc)

if she uses Cyclone tempo, it'll prolly be enhanced by an impact dial, so it will be even more insanly strong. What I want to see, is a new version of Tornado Tenpou.

Yes, but luckily she still has a lot of room to expand, there are lots of weather phenomena that she hasn't used yet.

I for one would like to see her causing snow and hailstorms, as well as extreme heat. A heavy deluge would also be great, and how about extremely pressurized air to immobilize opponents?

What I'm interested to see is how strong Tornado Tempo is now. And use of the heat ball and cool ball. Some kind of attack with heat balls would be especially awesome to see-maybe heat could be Calipha's weakness 0_o

I really hope that tornado tempo can become a multiple used attack, since I predict that some enemies will be able to get up after it in the future.

I agree that it would be interesting to see the cyclone tempo create a real cyclone. I hope to see it used, just so we can see how much more powerful the new climatact is compared to the old one.

For the strength of the heat balls, we might have some idea for how powerful it could be. If there is a heat dial in the heat tact, then judging from the heat lance in skypeia, it should be able to get hot enough to set wood on fire.

I really didn't like TT that much becuase it wasn't really an elemental attack, just some wires twirling around. You don't need much metheorology knowledge to use that.

Neither is the tornado tempo of the old clima tact. Don't forget that Usopp is the creator of this weapon and he doesn't have as much metheorology knowledge as Nami. He basically creates the effects of the weather condition artificially using the "engineering" knowledge he has and I thought that was impressive. Moreover he created 3 sticks (heat, cold and electric), which has unintentionally helped Nami to come up with her own attacks based on real methorology knowledge.

I really want to see some shiny new attacks, not upgrades from the older ones. She should show off her powers more anyways.
Sadly, Having a weather device like the clima tact makes the sollution for beating Calipha pretty easy for her, she just has to create a rainstorm inside. Water washes the soap away. Once she cant turn into soap anymore to avoid being washed away -> Thunderbolt Tempo and BAM..Nami wins. If Calipha uses the rain to create more soap she could do it the other way around. Extract all humid from the air and make the room bonedry. No more soap -> Thunderbolt..BAM..Nami wins either way. Just my 2 cents.

The perfect climatact(okay imperfect climatact since Ussop made it:laugh: ) is a really intresting weapon, and I'm looking forward to the improvements of the known tempos and any new tempos that Oda hasn't mentioned yet. I believe Nami going to use some sort of heat shield to evaporate the bubbles immeditatly after using an enhanced mirage tempo (maybe this new improved tempo will be able to leave multiple false images).

However in order to evade the bubbles that Calipha will constantly throw/rub at her you will need lots of heat to evaporate all the bubbles before they get to her and I would think the perfectact only has so much heat in its system. I also think using water is ineffective. IMO if there is water everywhere Calipha could use the water as a channel for her bubbles just like you can channel flames by using gasoline. The best option here is to use wind. A common misconception about wind is that it is caused by the pressure difference between high pressure and low pressure. In actuality wind comes from the uneven heating of the earth (this why the tropics are more calm than the temperate zones). So what this all boils down to is that Nami needs to use the right combination of heat ball and cold balls to form a cyclone or tornado tempo(in order to defeat Calipha.

o.o Yes, and the air becomes higher pressure by heating up and lower pressure by cooling down, like any gas. It's not a "common misconception" it's just the second part of the mechanism, where the temperature is the first.

That said what I really, really wanna see is a brand new tempo.

I thought I'd revive this thread since Nami used a few more attacks this chapter. The ones we saw were:
Mirage Tempo: Fata Morgana
Cool Charge
Cloudy Tempo
Rain Tempo
and she tried using Cyclone Tempo, but failed.

It was interesting to see the new versions of Cloudy Tempo and Rain Tempo. Judging by the pics in this recent chapter, Cloudy Tempo was the one that flowers shot out of the Climatact, but now it really forms clouds. Also the Rain Tempo really makes rain, and isn't like a sprinkler.
I wish we were able to see the new version of the Cyclone Tempo too, but maybe we'll see it in the next chapter.

She has used a normal version of Mirage Tempo in the last chapter 410 and then a newer more powerful version Fata Morgana in 411.

I would like to see some explaination on exactly how Usopp managed to create all these functions, but since we never got that for the original tact, I don't expect one now. He has definately become a first-rate weapon builder.

I still wonder if there is some vestige of the party trick functions that surfaces before this is over. XD

I don't think she uses the same rain tempo as the one back in alabasta. She created rain by herself, via cloudy=tempo followed by cool ball.

My guess is that he just figured out how to make it blow out hot, cold, and static air, added a few party tricks, and let Nami figure out the rest. Unless you mean how he managed to make it do those things, in which case I have no freaking clue.

I'd like to see her pay him for it. :rofl: The perfect climatact is really awesome, and I can't wait to see even more of her attacks. The Thunder Lance Tempo was very cool; though I'd like to see a Fine Tempo. In fact, that's how Lucci will be defeated! Nami'll use Fine Tempo, and then Hattori will fall in love with the doves. POOF! Lucci goes on a magic pirate adventure to find Hattori again.

In 412, I'd have to say nami became one of my favorite fighters. She was just dominating the fight all over the place, the giant cyclone tempo, and her new attack: thunder lance tempo. Also her last line was pretty cool, all in all the perfect climatact is an awesome weapon.

something I noticed when catching up on gerusama subs and double chekcked in the manga…in the short fight in iceburg's room vs. CP9, Nami weilds her old clima tact. its more obvious in the anime, but its visibly so in manga chapter 348.

This could be

a new, not upgraded climatact
or possibly an self upgradable climatact, where she adds the dial pieces on

That was brought up before, I think it's fair to simply say she didn't bring her new Clima-Tact out until she was ready for battle on Rocketman. She may have even gone back to storage at the hotel to get it.
It think it's more puzzling trying to figure out where Usopp suddenly pulled Kabuto out from.
Those magically appearing Usopp weapons.
