i've been reading the manga for a while now and just recently started watching the anime. anyway, i just saw the episode where franky is introduced…. good god is his voice freaky! i mean it sounds nothing like what i had imagined. i figured he'd have a fairly rugged, masculine voice (like a yakuza member or something). but it's kinda nazaly and annoying. even kuwabara's voice actor from yuyu hakusho would've worked. i was kinda surprised with sanji's voice too though. it's much deeper than i figured. considering his frame and the way he talks to the ladies i thought it'd be much easier on the ears. anyone else surprised and/or annoyed by the voices? usually japan is good about this stuff.

Franky's voice wasnt that good at first but now i love it.
also i love sanjis voice its one of my favorites.

I think everyone was shocked at Franky's voice being that of Bon Kurei's but just like everyone else now I can't imagine a voice other than his…..well...there is this.

I think if you watched the Alabasta arc of OP and go femilar with the voice of Bon Kurei it would be easier for you to get use to it. But seeing how you didn't it will just take as much as hearing Bonny Boy as listening to Franky.
