After recently finding an excellent tutorial on how to create those iPod silhouette kind of pictures (finally, I've been looking for one for a while)….. I decided to test it out and created this (Er, well, I made it about a week or so ago):
Click to view it in its entirety. It took me about 3 days to make and I'm planning to make one for the rest of the Straw Hat crew and perhaps go into some of the villains too. I've got a Nami pose for her picture and I might have a Sanji one, otherwise I'm open for ideas for the other characters.
Some notes on the "iLuffy":
- Yes, the iPod is fat and weird looking, I'll try making the iPod look better next time (it's a pain since everytime I tried to remake the iPod, it looked just as bad as before)
- Yes, there are fingers evidently missing that should make it look like Luffy's holding the iPod. I would've made it so that Luffy can hold the iPod (well, have him look like he is actually holding it). Problem is, in the original picture, Luffy's hand isn't actually grasping anything, it's just….. his fist. And frankly, I think I'll make the picture look worse if I attempt to add his fingers in. So I'm at a standstill and left the iPod as is.
So, no, this wallpaper/picture isn't without it's flaws, especially as it's my first 'silhouette' attempt. Hope you enjoy it though. And if you can find some good poses of the other Straw Hats as mentioned earlier in the post, go ahead and post them. I'm also open to some suggestions about how to improve the picture other than what's been mentioned.
