One Piece's 2nd Opening to Believe should win awards. That was an AMAZING opening and Memories was an AMAZING ending.

I hope beyond hope that when the anime does eventually come to an end, Memories will play over the last few minutes.

This isn't an Anime opening, but it's the introduction sequence to FSN the game. It's animated, though short; most consider the character designs to be superior to Studio Deen's version.

hands down, inner light - the 2nd op of hajime no ippo. The full one is much better than the opening but it is still great. It is also played during the last fight of the series just as the victor is being determined.

Here are some of my personal favorites:

I liked the second Shaman King opening (Northern Lights):

Although I didn't pay much attention to it at first, the fifth opening of Naruto eventually became my favorite Naruto opening (especially when they added Lee and Gai to it):

And it's an ending, not an opening, but I like Air Master's cause it's funny:

I also like the previously mentioned Inner Light (Hajime no Ippo) and Believe (One Piece).

I also like all the variations of sCRYed's Reckless Fire.

I like the Japanese Gundam Zeta opening (first one), and it makes me angry that it's not in the U.S. DVDs:

(U.S. DVD version - the music is just background music from the series, and although it's not bad…it's just not the same - some people might say it's less cheesy...but I liked the original one a lot)

Not a big bebop fan, but I do like the opening. I love outlaw star's opening too. One of my favorite is OP's second opening, believe. (i actually agree with omae for once. :P)

And no one likes the FIRST FMA intro, mellissa. That's my favorite of the 4. Although, I like the first ENDING better; undesirable sin

No time now, but I would like to check out these links for anime I've yet to see. Gotta be fair now. Don't knock it till you try it. (looks to Buu, and Zelda games…..sorry, gotta tease)

Also, Trigun has an awesome opening. That guitar is brilliant. Rock 'n roll, baby!

I just remembered anopther intro I like. The opening to revolutionary girl Utena. The scene where they are on those hoarses has nothing to do with the story, but it sure looks darn cool. And the music goes beautifly with the video. I find it inspiring

To me theres too many to choose from, personally I don't think much of the opening outside of the music. I personally really like the Naruto OP 2's song aswell as Super Shooter from Gantz. (Only good thing that anime had right there)

I love all these to death! I even love the spanish versions of Believe, Hikari E and We Are!
also, Before Dawn, Watashi Ga Iru yo, Glory~Kimi Ga Iru Kara, Eternal Pose, Dreamship and Ashita Wa Kuru Kara are my favorite endings n__n

It's odd that some of the Ruroken stuff you listed were from it's endings but meh anyway I saw the original version of the Heart of Sword ending and I was kinda disappointed the dub version is better due to the fact that it uses stuff from another ending or opening.

One opening I like alot, oddly enough, is one of the Pokemon openings. The 8th opening.

Another opening I like alot is Zatch Bell's/Gash Bell's third opening. There's two variations of it…
