There's a HQ cover, thanks to omae a.k.a Greg.
As you can see, it says Pirates vs. CP9 (the Kanji says Kaizoku) and like many people have said it contains 400-409.
I think that the cover will be blue with Pirate vs CP9 as title. Chapters 399-409. I think that by 409 Nami's fight will be over. So I think that Franky, Chopper and Nami will be standing at the bottom with Gear 3 luffy.Lucchi and Robin at the Top behind them.
Isn't chapter 399 part of volume 41? Correct me, if I'am wrong, but volume 41 has 232 pages and 11 chapters.
Current availabe titles are:

"Franky vs. Fukurou"

I would prefer "Pirates vs. CP9" or "Power", but mostly the volumes will get the title from one of the last chapters, so we have to wait at least until chapter 409 or 410 to speculate about the title.
Cover… I would like yellow, sounds odd, but I don't know why. Maybe with the broken tower of justice in the background, Jyabura und Kaku as animals on it, handcuffed Robinchan maybe and of course Gear 3rd Chibi Luffy.
Your right Fierce 399 is part of 41. But I still think that it would end at 409.

amazon.jp says it has 232 pages, which means 11 chapters. And someone, who has the volume, mentioned in the volume 41 thread, it goes from 389 to 399. So I think last chapter is 399.
Pirates VS CP9. That tells you what's going on, and seems like a good title.
Bit early for a speculation on Volume 42 but who cares.
Frist of all, Volume 41 is chapter 389-399 so I think Volume 42 will have 400-411 chapters.
I like a purple cover, I think we would see giraffe Kaku and Wolf Jyanbura. I hope we see Enies Lobby in the background with Spandam, Robin and Lucchi.

Kaku should be on it. A handcuffed Zoro and Sogeking would be cool too, seen as the story is going around getting the keys for the handcuffs. At the moment I think the title will be 'Pirates Vs. CP9'.

Something like the mugiwara vs baroque works covers but only on one cover (of course, noticably different too)
The releasing Key, i find that title much better then Power or Pirates vs CP9.
As for the cover, i want it to be black, we need a black cover, i want a black cover, with Kaku and Jyabura, but not in their animel forms, that would be a major spoiler. It could be cool, if we would see them in front and behinde them their shadows taking on the form of a wolf and giraffe.
Oh ya we need Luffy somewhere, but it don't no where.
I'd like to see Chopper, Franky anf Fukuro. Maybe there'll be the cut in half tower and chibi Rufy.
I would like a some sort of Volume 21 & 22 just CP9 and Mugiwara 
I thik the title should be Pirates v.s. CP9. I think it should have a purple background like jokeido the second said. The top should feature the mugiwara pirates. The bottom should feature CP9. Oh and put the CP9 members underneath their mugiwara opponets. In the middle have chibi luffy, giraffe kaku, and wolf jaybuya.
Pirates vs. CP9 is almost a definite title name for Volume 42. The cover should prove to be one of the series most amazing ones, also; unless Oda is really off his rocker (which is hopefully not the case in any way shape or form).
I forsee Jyabura and Kaku in the middle, fighting with one another; Usopp and Zoro below them with the Sogekatana. Kumadori on the right in battle with Chopper and Fukurou on the left fighting off Franky.
i don´t think that the title will be 'pirates vs. cp9' or something like that…luffy was on each cover so he will be there too but we will not see his 3rd gear because i don´t think that we will see it in this volume...my favourits beside luffy are chopper and franky, in the background lucci and robin in front of this huge gate...:happy:
I think more then enough chapters have come out since 41's release.
And if 42 comes out next month (considering I don't count today) we'll have another volume (yay?)
Chibi-Luffy, Chopzilla, and Kaku, Jyabura, and Califa standing there with shadows of there respective animals (remember that Califa is a sheep with her bubbles.)

Forgot the title. My bet is it could still be Pirates vs. CP9. But it could also be Monster, or Emergency Bad News Broadcast.
I think, it will contain 400 - 409, ten chapters. 409 seems as a perfect ending chapter because of the overviews done in it. Title "Pirates vs. CP9". All the other chapter titles are a way too specific. Maybe "The Releasing Key" or "Power" would work, but I definitely prefer Pirates vs. CP9.
I think chapters are 400-409 (ends with Buster Call being summoned by Spandam and Luffy fighting Lucci).
Cover has Luffy, Franky and Monster Chopper, with Kumadori and Fukurou (and possibly Spandam laughting like a madman)

I say it goes to 408 because that would be an awesome ending. Usually great volumes are only 9 chapters anyway (not really). Though more of the action packed volumes (take 21 for example) only have 9. Besides 408 leaves a great ending with lucchi just sitting there.
As for the title pirates vs cp9. The cover will be purple with the half cracked tower down the middle and cp9 on the one side and the mugiwara on the other.
edit: is there any news of when 43 will come out. When 42 comes out 43 will probably have enough chapters anyway….so maybe august or september.

Colors: Going with the STRONG color backs of both 40 and 41 this should have Green or Yellow as a STRONGbackground. I'm going with green.
On the cover…..I'm going out on a limb and predicting Oda's about to start a scroll like with 21 and 22. 42,43,and 44 will be all one picture of Strawhats fighting various CP9.
On this one we'll have Chopper and Franky fighting Furyoku and Kumadori.
Chapter wise: 400-410. Ending with the Buster Call chapter. 10 chapters.
410 is 11 chapters zephos….

I suspect it'll be called Keys or something related to it. It'll have Monster Chopper and the Tower, with other various odd things in it.

No the Dragon Ball manga did end at 42. GT is Toei's failed attempt at extending the series through another anime.

Toei is the mastermind behind DB GT, like Zephos said there is no manga,
it's no Akira Toriyama's work, it suck compared to Akira Toriyama's DB
And Oda admire Akira Toriyama and his work not the crappy Toei attempt to make more money
Let's hope Toei doesn't make the same mistake when Oda finishes One Piece

Toriyama: I'd say I'm only slightly involved. I check the story that Toei Pictures has created, and I offer some advice to them. I only did a few characters designs for them
Sure Akira Toriyama did give some advice and designed a few characters but still it's not is original work (like DB was)

That's right. So stop saying Toriyama wasn't involved. I think the fact that he supports the show says more than anything. Did you also happen to read the part where he noted how if he did continue the story, he might head in that direction?

Yeah, Toriyama has been quoted as saying he Liked GT and wished it was his Idea. I personally disliked it compared to the series, but I didnt think it was THAT bad.
To get to the Topic, I have thought for a LONG time that it was gonna be called "Pirates Vs CP9" Since this is Where the actual Fights will begin.
As for the Cover image, For color, I'd go with Green, Oda's Last few Were Red, blue, and Yellow, Something fresh. Black Green or Purple, but I think a good dark Green.
As far as image on it goes, most Covers have what the most prominent feature is, For Example, I just Opened up My V40 and Flipped through it. it has The Giants in the Beginning, Baskerville next, and then Luffy Vs Blueno takes up the whole second half of the book, and these are the Things on the Cover. V41 was mostly the Robin Flashback, so Little Robin, Olvia and Saul are on it, then after that we get the "Declaratioin of war" by which the volume is named, this was Ordered by luffy and Conducted by Usopp, so they both get on the cover.
in 42, we have the Start of the Fights, and most notably Zoro Vs Kaku, we have Franky Vs Fukurou and that fight gets pretty far in, and then at the End We have Chopper Vs Kumadori and Chojira Being the Strong closing parts of the Volume. Luffy kinda got Pushed to the backburner in this one, he'll most likely be on the cover but I suspect he'll be in the Background and He'll be running.
I expect Franky, Fukurou, Chopper and/or Chojira, Fukurou, Luffy, and Possibly Zoro, Kaku and/or Nami and Calipha on the cover, in order from most Prominent/Largest to Smallest/ Might not be on at all.

Since the vol 42-43 are propably going to cover all of the CP9 fights except the "closing act", I hope for some sort of Vol 21-22 like creation, where we see Franky, Chopper, Fukorou and Kumadori on the first, Sanji, Zoro, Jabura and Kaku (in animal forms of course) in the 2nd.
I'm sure Spandam, Nami, Califa and Sogeking will also be there, somehow.
I hope for chapters 400-409. The Buster call, and the Luffy-Lucchi stalemate would be incredible cliffhangers.
i kinda hope it's a bit simpler looking than trying to cram in a bunch of characters. i think monster chopper and kaku/jyabura will be in it for sure though. i could kinda do without fukurou or kumadori, but i suppose they did take up a large portion of the chapters.

Which is actually the way it always used to be until the shit hit the fan with 37 not completing Franky's past in a single volume. So happy things are finally back to normal.

Hrm? You mean cover art? Are you perhaps confusing 37 with 42? I have no clue what 42 looks like. The problem with 37 was it was the first time a volume didn't complete a back story. That led to a rushed release for 38 which fucked over the releases for about a year leading to either uber-early or uber-late (meaning just a month or so more than usual) releases.
