What's with all these poeple dumping on Arlong's laugh?!! I love Arlong's laugh! It always reminded me of that weird noise water monsters make in horror movies.
Foxy's laugh is incredible, especially since he has like two. And he can never decide when to use each one. "Hoi hoi hoi hoi!" and "Fweh fweh fweh!" are amazing! And Wapol (who has the same voice actor) had a laugh that reminded me of Gilbert Gottfried, and because Gilbert Gottfried is the MAN that means I have to like that laugh.
… perhaps this article was not built for me, I like all the laughs... However, I'm going to have to agree with whoever said Satori. That laugh sounds like an acid trip gone horribly, horribly wrong.

I found Crocodiles laugh to be annoying 70% of the time…"Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah!!" It sounded like some primate mating call...
The only other ones I've ever had a problem with were Brogys and Valentines. I hope Fukorous' "Chapapapa!" Won't sound too much like Brogys... -

Agree. I feel that I should like all of the original laughs and despise the dub ones. It sort'a made me feel guilty saying that Arlong's was retarded. :sad: It's like whoever thought of the idea of giving which laugh to which character(possibly Oda), and us saying that we don't like the given laugh(s).
For the dub laughs, I feel that I should hate them, because 4Kids seems to put very little effort into giving certain traits to the characters, like giving them fake accents and what not.

Arlong's did get a little annoying.... Crocodile's laugh is pretty irritating... haven't heard much of Eneru's yet... Wapol's got on my nerves and so did Foxy's... well, his is amusing. yeah, Satori was annoying

Crocodile. Hands down, and for this reason only: His laugh seemed the most forced of any OP villian so far in the anime. The laugh performance was so lackluster, but made up for it by being great at pretty much every other aspect of Crocodile.
As far as irritation scale: Wanze's Sa sa saaa and Satori's Ho ho hooo are very irritating.

i really don't mind Croc's laugh. It reminds me of Ricky Ricardo, so i can't hate it.
Outside of the dub i think Miss Valentine's and Wanze's laugh bother me the most. Then again Wanze just irritates me in general. -
Christy likes the laughs in OP, but the one she hates the most is Enel's. It makes her go "GRRRR, what a JERK!" She doesn't think it's like, BAD, like, "eww" or anything, she just is reminded how much of a bastard he is whenever he laughs. The jerk…

The only laugh that I find intolerable and not just because of how it sounded, but how the character was also designed, is Satori's "Ho-ho!". God have I had nightmares with that laugh, every time I watched an episode where he appeared I just wanted to punch my monitor's screen. Agh! >.<

Thriller Bark was a gold mine of annoying laughs - Perona's, Moria's, but especially Hogback's. Perona's is actually fun in moderation - it's got a neat echo-y sound - and I've gotten used to Moria's grating Kishishishi as being appropriately villainous, but I can't even stand Hogback's. It's like a barking seal. All of their laughs suffer from having to compete with Brook's, which is just fantastic.
Still, none of those laughs annoys me like Satori's laugh . . . thing. Gah.

Well its kind of hard to laugh that way. just try it, you will fail or it would just sound weird either way. Also its kind of weird people think they have to "LIKE" all the laughs. "Zeha" and "Ahah" isn't a big deal. Crocodile's laugh was fitting at the end of the water luffy vs sand Croc fight but other than that it sounds forced as hell.
