When I was really young (around kindergarten), I listened to English music even though I didnâ€t know English… I listened to a lot of 80â€s music, and I still love it all.
There was Pink Floyd, Ace of Base, Scorpions, Metallica, Queen, Elton John, Deep Purple, Halloween (why is it that no one has ever heard of this band?) … and I donâ€t really remember the rest.
I went back to listening to most of them out of nostalgia recently.
Of the non-English music, there was…. Kvitka Tsisik (I had a tape), and a handful of random songs. Iâ€ve pretty much stopped listening to non-English music, except for one song, by Mertvyie Delfinyi (Dead Dolphins).
Queen.
1. Frank Zappa
2. The Beatles
3. Queen
4. BB King
Wow, a lot of people like Queen. Anyway here's my list:

Live?
1. Aerosmith is my favorite band, and they always put on a great show.
2. Rusted Root was my first concert and they're awesome live. The stage was filled with every percussion instrument imaginable.
3. The Trans Siberian Orchestra is probably the best live act I've ever seen. They rock.
I never get to see anyone live. Except Earth, Wind and Fire, and Beenie Man.
Hmmm….
Now:
IIO
Stevie B
Johnny O
Old Favorites (dunno if I still like them):
The Misfits
Rammstein
AFI
Queen
NIN
Operation Ivy
Funny that when I come up with a list of favorites that there is no metal in there. I have been listening to metal forever (ok, not forever, but I grew up in the seventies listening to Zeppelin, Kiss, Sabbath, AC/DC etc. so in terms of metal that pretty much is forever)
Current Faves (subject to change at a moments notice):
Faith and the Muse
Inkubus Sukkubus
Xandria
Let's see…
Just a few acts I love, The Beatles, Sarah Maclachlan, Sting, George Michael (post WHAM! days, thank you very much  ) U2, Supertramp, REM, Natsukawa Rimi (miraculous voice, especially live), Porno Graffiti, Orange Range, Ella Fitzgerald, Tony Benett, and oh! oh! The Crown Jewels (because Steve Conte is amazing.)
