How the heck would I do it, precisely ? Just like, cutting out a certain part of an already-existing mp3 for it to be its own (say like out of an mp3 that's like 20 minutes long, how would I just get a clip of the part that runs from 4:00 to 10:00) ?

Or can someone else do it for me and save me the trouble ?

I use GoldWave for my audio butchery. More or less free and good at what it does. It will let you chop out the part you want chopped out with little fuss.

I just go the simple or lazy way, using Windows Movie Maker, just trim off the bits you don't want or split them and then merge the rest together and save.

if like me you're too lazy to download softwares, you can convert your mp3 into wav, use windows sound recorder to crop the file then reconvert the output file in mp3 with winamp (well, you'll need to dl a mp3 output plugin…)

I use total recorder for cutting up audio from mp3 files and several others too. Its easy to use. Not very complicated. If you want give it a try.

Also can anyone tell me a good software for converting mp3 to midi files. I want to put Movie5/SogeKing theme for my mobile ringtone and I have no clue how to do it so any help will be appreciated
