it IS biased XD… but I was wondering if this part about the article was true and if anyone's seen it

Considering the individual made a stament like this, I wouldn't even consider whether that is true or not. It probably came from some 4Kids hater that suggested that might happen and then a bunch of equally dim 4Kids haters took it as gospel. Why in the hell would they even write something like that in Jump? They made a special article celebrating it coming to the US but why on earth from a marketing or even logical standpoint would they devote time and money to a page declaring the series a failure when they could promote something -_-

Speaking of which, I see 'dbzoa' in that address. Aren't those the individuals who accused EGX of being Gen Fukunaga?

pfft, I dunno XD, that's why I was curious. I figured someone would have scanned it by now though and wanted to make sure I didn't miss something. But I thought if there was just SOME CHANCE that it was true..

and I don't know who this "kevin" guy is but he must be important for just his first name to be used… isn't he some Anime reviewer guy?

Boy, Cartoon Network sure is going to be embarrassed to find out that out seeing as how they went and announced that they had already renewed One Piece back at the start of the month.

Actually the rumor didn't start from some 4Kids hater, it started from KevinTRod's uncle. He's a fairly welltodo business who trades stocks on Wall Street and used to own a lot of 4Kids stock. Sometimes he passes info on to Kevin, like 4Kids wanting to get Inuyasha. People on Wall Street gossip too, and that's where the rumor originated. I guess he's a bit of hater though, since he sold all his stock in the company a long time ago. Kevin's actually gotten a lot of information in the past from the guy, he even hooked him up with getting an autographed Japanese Metal Gear from Hideo Kojima. He's also told him some stuff about the uncut dvd's. Kevin's going to write an editorial about it later though.

As for possibly writing that in Jump assuming it happened, well, Toei has done strange things before like giving One Piece to Funimation before changing their minds and taking it away from them and giving it to 4Kids and this certainly wouldn't rank as stranger than that. The dub's gotten bad ratings before and been heavily critically panned, it wouldn't surprise me if they'd insult/complain about the company for mismanaging their property to try to whack some sense into them.
