I haven't played them yet…I'm going to get the PS2 versions, but I haven't had the chance yet (are they out yet? I haven't checked anywhere yet...since I live far away from the nearest video game store.)
I want to play as Duo Lon though, because he seems to fit my style based on animated sprites I've seen. I liked using Lin in '00 and '01 (yes...I know he's kind of cheap...but his style appeals to me)...and Duo Lon looks pretty cool (same clan as Lin, poison techniques, etc.)
(Eiji, Leona, and Saisyu are my favorites of all time though). I'm trying to get a second copy of the Dreamcast '98 also (in case something bad happens to my disc). The KoF '94 Remake is also coming soon I hear.

Yeah…Kunio is cool. I've played World Cup Soccer for NES (it was originally like...Nekketsu soccer or something...but they changed the names of all the characters and stuff in the U.S. version), Super Dodgeball (GBA, NES, and PC-Engine versions...haven't played the Neo-Geo/arcade one yet), Kunio Tachi no Banka (SNES), and some Nekketsu Basketball game.
I like the Kunio games...they are usually fun...but it's hard to find all of them (there's so many).
The SNES one was the only beat 'em up I bothered with outside of the SoR series. Too bad I only had the rom.

Yeah, I only have (mostly) roms also. Except for the NES World Cup Soccer and NES River City Ransom (I didn't know who Kunio was when I first played them many years ago). Oh, I also own Super Dodgeball for GBA. But I only have roms for the basketball one, and the other dodgeball ones.
I've played roms of both SNES beat'em'up games (River City Ransom 2…where the characters are more realistic looking...and then Kunio Tachi no Banka, where they look more like they did in the NES games).
I like to try to get the real games (I like playing them on the television and stuff), but it would be kind of hard to find those....

Hey, speaking of games... I can't for the life of me remember if this game was for the SNES or the NES... but maybe someone can help me out. I've been trying to remember the name of this game my dad played when I was but a little girl (I was like... young.. I watched my dad and older brother play a LOT of games)... All I can remember is a few things that happened throughout the game... I remember in the begining, pretty much the first thing you do is go up into this tower (I remember the tower-sprite being greenish-teal... Wait, I remember THAT but not the game's title... Damn I'm bad.) followed by this little pink demon thing with wings who may or may not have bene named "Puck" or "Puk" or "Puka"... I remember you went up the elevator of the tower and fought these jellyfish-looking creatures (RPG format)... and when you reached the top of the tower, a voice asked you if you wished to place your hand on this control-panel of sorts... Puck or whoever says you should and calls you a wimp if you say "no" and pressures you into it. You press the control thinger and I believe you destroy the world or something to that effect. I remember nothing other than that, and that there was this race of bat-like people and two of them breifly joined your party (I can't remember the male's name, but the female was called "Firey" or something..)... I remember at one point in what may or may not have been a volcano, Firey sacrificed herself to let your party liveand continue on (some girl who was probably the female lead character screamed "FIREY! NO!" when Firey may or may not have jumped into a pit of lava for some reason...I really can't remember...) ... I also remember these twins turning into stone to stop a dungeon from collapsing so the hero could escape and get onto the airship controlled by some old man... but I'm thinking at least part of that is from like, Final Fantasy 2 (the original FF2, not FF4)...
...If anyone could help, that would be, um, super.
(and I will kick myself if everything I just listed is from FF2... I really will... I've told myself all these years "Naw, it's NOT FF2! It can't be!")
