Unfortunately it makes it look like I am insulting you, which I would never do. I respect you and Steve a lot, for you guys got me inspired to be a voice actor. I am cool….I guess. I wouldn't call that improv. Me and Royce went over the song's lyrics piece by piece. He pretty much helped me come up with them.
Steve's Top Five Favorite Dub Piece Villains 5. Kuro - Episode 3 made up for Dan's choking on dialogue for Episode 2. Not only did Dan carry Usopp to glory, but he made Kuro just as funny. The idea of creating a song out of a flashback was over my head, and I had a fun time recording it. He had so many great lines, delivered in various and hilarious tones.
3. Erik - Fun. That's what Erik was. I was finally playing a villain, and I knew I could actually pull this one off. I had the perfect gimmick in mind, and surpisingly a cracked out voice too. I'm glad that he was a hit with fans, and dawned the new term "fillain."
2. Foxy - Now this is something that came out of left field. To think that the Bill Cosby voice was not even thought of until the dubbing had begun. Though some dialogue was pulled out of his ass, Royce made this character memorable. The voice was just hilarious, and he would just deliver a line that had a great joke or just a funny tone.
1. Spandam - I already love the orginal character, but Dan made him so much more enjoyable. His voice is that slimey, devious, screechy tone, he has a catchphrase (which I know and posess what it was based off of), plus Dan is able to use phrases and dialogue that sound like what a classic "love to hate" villain would say.

I think you may have gotten confused. warp said DP was all improv, and IT'S A LION! was stating that the Candy Man song was DEFINITELY NOT improv.

If you still don't know what "TM" means, then you're a lost little soul. But "TM's" sometimes contain musical numbers.
So, most of it's improv and some of it's not? That's what I would have guessed. You guys are great improv actors. I do some young proffesional improv and comedy acting too, so I really know what it's like.

3. Kuro -- Very well played out. Dan has such a great range of voices. It is pretty amazing that he can range from the puberty-stricken Usopp to a sophisticated asshole Kuro, and everything in between!
2. Spandam -- Badass, menical, and even more "this-could-be-an-actual-dub-voice" vibe than Erik. Maybe Dan should consider auditioning for Spandam in the upcoming FUNi dub 
. I'd pay money to see that happen.

Arlong: Congrats on turning one of the most evil bastards of One Piece into a surfer who just wants to win a competition at the clam bake with his team.
Crocodile: The first Dub Piece villain ever. How could I not remember him? His jokes, calling the pirates noobs, and talking about super balls made him even more memorable as one of the first voices in this masterpiece.
Spandam: I never really liked him in the anime (The manga version> how Toei made him act). His catchphrase, and ranting to the other CP9 agents about how bad cookie sales were was a great touch.
Erik: Way to make a crappy filler fun! He was one of the lamest villains in One Piece, but him talking about his long fingernails and how everyone doesn't take him seriously made episode 6 almost as funny as 3.
Top 5 Villians:
5. Don Krieg-While I personally didn't care much for his voice, I thought the fact that he had a voice so opposite his character was absolutely hysterical. He reminded me of Chopper in the fact that the little reindeer was switched for a voice, too.
4. Erik-"Fillain" needs to get into the dictionary.
3. Crocodile-He needs more screen time. I swear. Not only was he the first ever real character that we heard, but his lines with the constant "n00bs" and bad jokes just killed me.
2. Kuro-Dan's singing about the lumberjack man is classic. He also sounded the way Kuro should sound, as in Dan's voice for him wouldn't be a bad choice for a new American version.
1. Spandam-The laugh, the voice, the over the top personality, everything gets me. I'm on the floor every time I hear the guy. And, of course, a little "D'OH FORTUNE" definitely helps.

It hasn't been pronounced in the anime yet, has it? It'd be pretty odd if it's supposed to be Hey-Zeus and he's called G. Zass over here.
Actually it is pronounced like "G-zass", while the english names sometimes confuse, the katakana names never lie.
As for incorporation of the FUNimation dub, you could always start off an episode with the voices changed around, people would be confused, then the title card could show up, and everything goes back to normal.
OR, you could incorporate it into the plot where a future DP villain steals the voices and replaces them with BETTER ones, but the characters want their old voices back, so they fight or something…

Okay guys, I'm really sorry to have to say this, but it doesn't look like I'll be doing the Dub Piece DVDs after all. I realized that it would take too much work to reinstall DVD Architect on Vista, and even then, to encode the information onto ISO format, and to upload it and share it online, since it would be approx. 4.6 GB of information.
So no Dub Piece DVDs, ever, it seems…

See here's the thing: the discussion was about Dub Piece, then it went uploading episodes of Dub Piece, then it went into how Youtube won't allow episode 8 to be uploaded, then it went into how Youtube sucks, which quickly went into Mama Luigi videos on Youtube, then into Mama Luigi, then into Yu-Gi-Oh!:TAS which is also on Youtube, and it's a good thing I found a Magic Balloon.
