If God forbid that 4Kids ever gets to the point where they'll be handling translation and the dubbing of the Eneas Lobby arc (an arc with a strong anti-government, down with the system message) and One Piece there on afterwards, how do you think 4Kids will handle it? Isn't Kahn a Reppublican (well, if he isn't, then I'm surprised, what with his messed up ideology and all)? And Republicans are mostly the don't question the Government, believe-everything-the-Government-says-like-good-Christians type. I'm guessing the revolt against the government story path that One Piece seems to be heading down won't sit well with the brass at 4Kids. It doesn't make for good brainwashing.
So how will 4Kids handle One Piece after the Eneas Lobby arc?

I don't see why they can't have an anti-government message in the anime. Afterall, I'm assuming FMA aired with its anti-government themes with them slaughtering all of those people like Scar. I never watched the dub but I'm assuming they didn't just cut it all out. Second of all, I don't think OP has an "anti-government" message at all. I think the Enies Lobby arc is just being overanalyzed. The corruption of the World Government doesn't mirror in anyway corruption in the Bush adminstration so I don't see why it would spur anarchist thoughts in little children or anything. But 4Kids could always spin CP9 to not be a branch of the WG and have them as some group trying to resurrect the weapon. That seems more likely than just skipping it all together in my mind.

FMA has 2 things going for it
a) It's handled by Funimation who actually gives a crap about what the fans think
b) It aires on Adult swim where the target audience is assumed to be old enough to deal with anti-government themes with a mature attitudeOP has 4kids which targets it's show to 4 year olds.

The Water 7 arc is full of action, intensity and drama. I don't think I'll be able to bear 235 (not that I've even beared the past eps mind you) of Water 7 if their voice actors won't take their roles more seriously. Especially Usopp's. If his dubbed voice actor continues to make Usopp look like a pansy, god, I hope something dreadful befalls him. D:<

Sheesh, you can't even get your facts about the series straight, it's as if you never watched it. Which is why I don't find your observations about the dub very convincing, you seem to have very little memories of the original.

Episode 59 in the Dub matches up with Episode 91 in the orignal. 91-59=32
As for OP Man, I have one or two questions. I reread your statments multiple times, and I do not see any evidence to back up your claims. Could you restate the evidence and maybe bold it so we know what evidence you mean?
Secondly, many of the episodes that were cut cause inconsistencies in the series. Like the sigifigance and reason why Nami's tatoo is now a pinwheel and orange instead of Arlong's mark. Also is the mysterious patch plate now on their mast. So why would you think that cutting of such details would be considered "minimal"?What will they do IF they reach Eneis Lobby? The giants come up again. And if Laboon comes up again, then their is another problem right there.
Most of the board members have come to the conclusion that the massive arc cuts were to reach Chopper faster, as evidenced by the commercials heavily promoting BIG reindeer. No other new crew member was promoted as heavily as Chopper was.
