A really great fighting game, definitely one of the best 3D fighters I've ever played. Who else has it?
Something that's been bugging me… Jinpachi sounds INCREDIBLY familiar, it's driving me nuts. I think he's voiced by the same guy who plays Gold Roger, but I'm not sure..
Oh, and I hate Craig Marduk. >_>

I have it and I agree it is a great fighting game definetly one of the best this year so far and a nice tide over for OP: GBR. I also hate Marduk (because he killed off my fav westlar, Armor King) I also hate Jinpachi that cheap mother ****** ****** ****** ***** ****** ******* ****** jerk

Gah, Jinpachi is so cheap, I'm glad he isn't playable. I'm having trouble learning moves in this game. Most likely because I haven't played a Tekken for a few years now.
Anyway, I agree, Tekken 5 is definitely a great game. I love how you can go back and play the older Tekken games. I also like the customization, but I still have a long way to go before I've bought everything. I know beating the Devil Within mode will give me lots of gold but I hate that mode so much.
Oh and about Marduk, I love beating him up.
I hate Marduck. But I also hate Ganryu, the kangaroo, Christie, Wang, Kuma, Asuka, and Jack-5. Some of them absolutely SUCK in battle, and others, I find myself wondering who the heck designed such awful characters. I mean, jeez, a kangaroo? A big fat sumo wrestler? A pop-star wannabe? AN OLD MAN?! I -hate- when fighting games do that.
I want my hot guys and girls. Thank you.
But the game itself is just wonderful. I love it. I haven't played it in a while, though, but I'm sure I'll pick it up again one day and get addicted to it. Besides, my 
for Anna Williams shall never wither.
Man, I love Kuma, Ganryu, and Wang. But I only like Christie for eye-candy, as she plays like crap (to me) and her stories tend to be lame.
Devil Within was painful to beat (each stage took me at least 30 minutes), but beating it will get you a lot of stages selectable, Devil Jin playable, 1 million gold, and Evil Symbols in each stage. An Evil Symbol will give you an expensive (500,000G) customization.
I'm trying to beat the game with all the characters before I get GB Rush (I can't multitask games). So far I think I've beat it with nearly half, and I have to say that Craig Marduk has the WORST ending yet.
I love the cusomization too. I gave Heihachi a hard hat and an eyepatch, Ganryu the samurai hat and Blues Bros. glasses, Marshall the chef's hat, ladle and frying pan (fighting chef!), and a lot more custom stuff I can't remember.

I kinda lost interest in the Tekken series after Tekken Tag.

I can see why, Tekken 4 was not really good at all. It was really just Namco experimenting with a bunch of new stuff, and not really keeping the old Tekken feel to it.

Yeah, Tekken 4 felt likem ore of an experiment, with Tekken 5 using the best of the findings.

I gave Kazuya's 2nd costume the wings, tail, and I want to give him the moustache. I'm going for more of a Dracula thing.
I gave Steve Fox's 1st player costume the champsionship belt, spiked gauntlets, and blue boxing gloves. I was going for a Foxy thing.
Trying to remember some of my other customizations… I'll post more later. I'll have to get more gold, I just spent last last 500,000 to buy Marshall's (awesome) alternate costume.
EDIT: I was right! Gold Roger (Chikao Ohtsuka) does do the voice for Jinpachi.

I definitely think it's worth buying. If you like fighting games, Tekken 5 is really a must play. The only downside I really saw in this game is the lack of online play (which I don't really do too much anyway).
