Anyone else notice how similar Chopper and Robin's pasts are? Both had a wild haired eldery mentor. Both become dispised by people. Dunno if this was brought up ages ago. Now granted robin had it 100 times worse.

As far as the hair is concerned the same counts for Nami´s and Sanji´s mentors. Bellemere´s hair is also not very common as much as it is the case for Zeff´s mustache. Plus neither Nami nor Sanji were very popular before they meet Luffy. Heck, not even Zoro and Usopp leave alone Franky were very popular to begin with.
