I believe that there will be a showdown between the D's. I think they were a order of gardians that protected the great civillization. But one of their own betraid them and help the allaince to destroy the misterious kingdom. I think Ruffy's last opponent will be a member of the "evil D's".

I have been thinking about Luffy wanting to be a pirate king and then there's this talking about this destroyed kingdom/civilization.. I really don't believe in this myself either but what if Luffy (And Ace) are some kind of princes, last descendant of royal family? All other D guys could be distant brothers etc.
Though this is a little clichÃ
and Oda is surely to come up with better ideas, but I just wanted to share this with others.. :unsure:
I'm quite sure, or should I say, I won't be surprised if it turns out Roger is Luffy's grandfather.
(Though before I also tought that Robin could be Luffy's aunt and they'd know each other from before… And now I'm sure I'm wrong!)

My theory: Kaku is actually a double agent working for Dragon and the revolutionaries. He'll betray the CP9 at the end of that arc and rejoin his master to give him some super secret infos on the World Government I have no idea about.
Yeah it's a pretty f***ing stupid theory but I just try to convince myself that we'll see Kaku again after Water Seven, he's one of my favorite characters.

My theory is Aokiji isn't a bad guy. When he fought the Strawhats, he was testing them, seeing if they are the nakama Sauro was talking about. Also I think Sauro is alive and well. Aokiji desfrosted him recently (so that he hasn't aged) and he's living in secret.

Remember when Smoker said to Luffy, "The next time we meet, you're a dead man,"? In the end once Luffy becomes Pirate King, Smoker might capture him and execute Luffy.:blink: Then the cycle would start again with a new main character searching for One Piece.
I think Donflamingo is going to be hard to beat, like Crocodile. It might take Luffy a few times to defeat him.
