Couldn't Luffy be fine in normal pool water (he didn't seem to mind the Arabasta bathing area) I always thought DFs only affect the person in ocean-water.
Anyway, cool figures, but they fail for only having 2 characters.
(the thought of Chopper in a speedo scares me O_O)

If I recall, that place was an Oasis. So it had to be fresh water.
I need to check the episode when he was in the cage. The water got to his waist but I don't remember if he became woozy or not. The water was running through his whole body in the bath scene though when he was under the waterfall with Usopp and he seemed fine.

Not true. Alligators only live in freshwater enviroments. And besides. They were crocodiles….with a bannana growing out of them. Since that place was an Oasis it had to be fresh water.
