Ugh, Shadow's such a lame character… they probably made this to appease the whiny, 12 year old HARDCORE PUNK/GOTHS/EMO/INDIE/ASTRONAUT/WHATEVER fans of the newer Sonic games.

Has anyone found any info on the story for this game? I thought Shadow died in Sonic Adventure 2. I'd like to know since its been awhile since I've played a Sonic game.

Shadow isn't as fast as Sonic.
I don't know why everyone finds this so blasphemous. I mean, the series is about a super fast blue hedgehog and his two tailed fox friend that battle a fat scientist over and over again. Just take it as it goes.

I think Sonic Team desperately needs to go back to the drawing boards with the Sonic franchise. With every game released, the series is becoming more & more irrelevant in the minds of gamers.
They need to reinvent the franchise, much like Capcom did with Resident Evil, before it becomes overly stale.

Speaking of Capcom, the same could be said for Megaman. But I mean, at least Sega tries to be unique; the upgrades between MM games are very minor.

Square-Enix is doing the same thing with FF. Vincent is getting his own game, Dirge of Cerberus or something. From what I've seen, it kind of looks a bit like Devil May Cry.

I don't know what's wrong with 2d games anyway. <_< It seems like all the best games were in 2d, but hey that's just my opinion. (the plot made no sense whatsoever, but it served it's purpose! It didn't have to make sense!)
Don't forget, the character has to be 'Troubled by his Past'. A key ingredient to pleasing the kiddies~ (As seen in various anime and previous games… coughNarutocough)

Anyways, I'll probably still play Shadow. I mean, game companies have a hard game to play with gamers. On one hand, gamers are complaining that games aren't innovatve enough. On the other, gamers bitch and complain when games are too different.
From the video, I see it plays a lot like the old Sonic Adventure games…except now you have the ability to shoot things. Doesn't make a whole lot of sense, but, then again, need I remind everyone of Majora's Mask?

Hah, I didn't mean it in that sense, more like what happened to them quality wise. I think Virtua Fighter 4: Evo was their last good release, but that was really only a small expansion/tune-up on VF4.
