I've been thinking of redoing the lineart someday, because yeah I admit it was pretty lazy. I think I'll take it into Illustrator, I love doing lineart in there, its always so clean~

Haha~ I've only used Paint.NET and MSPaint before, so I've have a pretty good control of lineart one way, but not so much the other. Line art is annoying, but if it's good, the picture's even better.

I hope you do! I'd love to see the redone version.

MS Paint is so fun in its own way. I got pretty ok at doing mouse paintings during a training class for a tech support job I used to have, lol.

I've never really used tablets for long periods of time, so I never got into it. I'm so used to using a mouse it's not even funny. xD My avvie and sig were made using MSPaint.

Wow, I can't even imagine drawing with a mouse, nor drawing in paint. I'm too used to Photoshop.
(But paint can be really fun, especially when I'm at school and my friends want me to draw Louis XIV.:ninja:)

And coloring with a mouse is not that hard, especially if you have clean lines to work with. Just select the area and fill. There are ways to do it with layers so that you don't wind up with those crunchy white areas. I can show you how if you want ^^

Thanks, but I'm too used to my little tablet and pen. And I couldn't really do the colouring because filling wouldn't work. But thanks anyways^^

Drawing with a mouse isn't TOO bad. That's how I used to do tegaki.
It's just really about control.

My only real complaint was that my fingers went numb from the rigedness of my hand…

That's how I do everything on computer~ Paint.NET, MSPaint, Tegaki, and whatever else I draw with that I can't remember.

Ironically, the only other 'paint' program that I haven't used is the SAI Paint Program. lol.

But yes, using a mouse kills your wrist slowly and possibly painfully and I'm pretty sure that it'll help me get arthritis faster. xD

I got used to it, but I did get a little experience with the wacom tablet at art school too. Sometimes I switch off depending on the area that needs to be colored.

Sometimes I spend so much time drawing on the computer, when I draw on paper and I make a mistake I think, 'Damn! I wish I could undo that. Or move this over there!' Haha~

Hahahaha I know right?! I do the same thing. Especially with inking… I swear my inking sucks so bad sometimes, I have to spend hours cleaning it up in photoshop. >_< But this year, I am determined to do more inking like this:

LOL "Avatar-ish" XD To be fair, she is a catgirl… but she's not blue at least, lol. She's a yellow tabby, technically. The only thing "Disney" about her are her eyes, because I love the way they draw eyes on females. And thank you, I love drawing her hair! So many curls~

I might redraw her body though, I want to go for a bit more cartoony rather than realistic. I originally got the pose from an old pic of Cyd Charisse or Eva Gardner, I can't remember. I just remember long legs!

Foreshortening towards to back… Yeah, I see where you were going at. Overlapping lines could help, but that's another skill I can't really comment on.

Don't worry about my comment on the stomach if you were going towards a more cartoony-disney style. It's good practice. Learning to take a real life reference and turning it into a lively and flowing cartoon character is quite fun.
