neko doesn't have access to the internet very often, thats why she aint around much.

Yeah, that's about right… Though, Crimsondreamer and I are finally getting around to setting up our own internet, so hopefully I'll be on here much more often, instead of stealing other people's internets (I'm on a friend's computer... everyone else is discussing the Star Wars rpg we're playing.... I got kinda bored XD)

But anyways.... I'm glad the book is still going on its way, it'll still be a while before it reaches us XD

Hey guys, this traveling sketchbook is an awesome idea. I PMed Taboo but then I read that she isn't gonna be around for awhile? Anyway I was wondering if I could join in on the fun, I live in Southern California (about 1 1/2 hours from San Diego)… I know it is already past California already but maybe I could get it at the end before it's sent back to E1n? Just wanted to ask here and make sure it's cool with everyone!

:w00t: hey, cool sketchbook you got there!!i hope you will put all the sketches on one site once you've finished the book, because some of the links don't work with my computer. you know, when there are only two pages left or so you could send it to Oda-Sensei and let him draw something or sign in. wouldn't that make the book more special?
anyway, keep up the great work, your drawings are so cool and funny!!

If we tried to send this to Japan or rather to Oda it would probably never get to Oda himself and we'd never see the book again.

AHH! I want to do it too! I'm in socal at the moment, Riverside for school to be exact. If it DOES come around back to CA, I'd like a chance at drawing something in it too.

This travelling sketchbook thing is an awesome idea! I wish I could contribute but I would be completely unreliable… besides, I live in Aus, so it's practically impossible anyway!

Uhm, I set up a freewebs site a few pages back i had scanned all the work up to my second time around onto. Soooo if that is found I can update it at home with everything past that point :B

Just out of curiosity, what are you going to do with the sketchbook once it is full? I loved looking at all the artwork.

The best thing possible would be to send it to Oda. Letters may not reach him, but a book full of art from fans all over might be more noticable.

I sent a PM to taboo about wanting in on drawing in the book, but no reply Who should I contact about it?

If we send it to Oda we'll never get it back, hell Oda probably wont even hear about it yet alone get it. I suggest it to just be returned to the creator of the sketchbook. (Was that e1n? I'm not sure.)

I know people who've sent things to Japanese celebs. They actually make it to them, some anyway. This one pop star has a blog and mentioned getting the package from American fans and was really happy.

obviously, but if enough people consent we could make it a sellable sketchbook. You really wouldn't need that many. I've seen people sell small saddle-stapled books at cons that were around 16 to 24 pages. Discounting four pages as the front and back cover page, and maybe two more pages for artist info or a table of contents you could probably do a book using around seven or eight people.

um, guys. Your not gonna believe it…but the sketchbook is ~~ruined~~ IS HERE! (I was gonna be mean and lie, but I don't wanna give anyone a heart attack.

Damn, though. I was hoping it would get delayed a bit at the boarder. I wanted to still have it when my friend came down. That's ok, I got to show it off to my roomates who are in animation. e1n, they were impressed with the sketches in your little comic.

So, I'm not done Metroid yet, so I better get off my ass and get that out of the way. (at last boss anyways) Then I can concentrate on this sketchbook. And tell me this week to get the hell off of here and quit wasting my time, until I get my sketches done. Goodness, I haven't drawn in AGES. I'm kind of scared how rusty I'll be.

ha ha, I need to go get some reference pictures now. hmm, Usopp, or Edward..who will I draw…maybe both. or maybe that luffy and nami pic I had in mind. ^^ oh what should I do, what should I do. tee hee

ha, I was just telling Local, I had a samus idea. I'm not a doodle person, like you though neko. I like to make a nice big detailed pic of something. So I probably won't have lots of little things

so, just to clarify, do I get 2 full sheets of paper? (front and back) or just one full sheet of paper (front and back)? make sence?

Oh, I gotta scan more. I better go back and check what the last thing was that was scanned. I was suprised at how many pages were left. I thought we had drawn more. Who was it that drew on the last page? >:3

Thank god my scanner/printer still works. We had a power surge around here, a few nights ago. I woke up and thought, I didn't turn that on. And then it wouldn't turn off when I hit the button. I had to unplug it, and plug it back in. It worked fine after that. thank goodness.
