Melmoth the Wanderer
What book are you reading now?
-
Melmoth the Wanderer

Have fun, Winter's Heart is pretty kickass towards the end, but Crossroads Of Twilight is boring as fuck but pretty much sets up the motherfucking awesome plot of Knife of Dreams.
Mazrim Taim, motherfucking badass.
I heard that most of the books after 7 aren't really worth reading and Spark Notes summaries were enough
-
yeah, that really only applies to Path of Daggers and Crossroads of Twilight.
You can skip Winter's Heart if you like, I just like the fight chapters. -
Never actually finished KoD. I got halfway and then ended up skipping ahead.
I'm currently reading Black Powder War of the Termeraire series. It's a interesting twist on the classic dragon story.
-
I'm reading 'To Kill A Mockingbird' by Harper Lee. A classic that deals with so many issues and is done so well
-
Mmm, just finished Oedipus, and now I'm about to start The Three Musketeers.
Because hoshit, I need to read the entire book by Monday. -
Good Luck.Duma never knows when to stop while writing.
Anyway,I finished Melmoth today.Anyone here read it? (my edition has 901 pages of story-text,by the way)
Just started reading "The Monk" by Mathew Gregory Lewis.Hope to read "The Castle of Otranto" soon.

Currently on page 15/16.
-
Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Gotta read 4 or so chapters each day for fucking English class
But Jim is my hero
-
ceasar for english class. it is ok
-
I Am Legend by Richard Matheson. Finished it in one plane ride, crossing from the west to the east. As always, the book surpassed ze movie in terms of enjoyability.
-
Killed a A Crown of Swords in two days and am now halfway through The Path of Daggers, which is pretty boring so far.
Anyway yeah, Crown of Swords was insanely awesome. I think the queen of whatever raping Mat was probably one of the funniest things I've ever read in a serious book. Moridin's awesome, and I want to see more of him and the other revived Forsaken (especially Balthamel or whoever the one who's a woman now).
EDIT: I fucking hate Cadsaune or whoever the crap that old bucket of failure is called.

right now I'm reading The Thousandfold Thought by R Scott Bakker
