I was going to say that all the keys are fake, but Oda already did that when they where trapped in the cage in Alabasta.
My first thought when seeing the title, was also Usopp, so I'll go with him.
All of this will probably be Usopp's redemption.

I was also thinking of Spandam having the real key, but as Jon mentioned Crocodile already did a twist like that.

His absence here is reminding me of Sanji's absence in previous arcs where he always comes back to do something awesome. Chopper needs some uber screen time too. The kid has missed out on a lot -
I think you should add another option Nobody or all the keys are fake since I guess it's gonna be a popular choice.

This key tactic is so rotten that it can only be made up by Spandam. With that in mind I´m sure that you have to expect the most rotten possibility and that´s that none of the keys is the right one and he´s the one having the right one.
So whover confronts Spandam will get the correct key IMO. Maybe Chopper? :blink:

Well… Who is the most reliable person to give it to? if so... i think that kaku holds the right key, I would not entrust such an important task to Jyabura... i think you know what i am talking about... but there is a chance that not even any of the CP9 agents know if they are holding the right key or not...

1. None of them.

If not, then it's either Franky to get in the SHs good graces.
However, I most likely think it will be none of them and this was a trick by Spandam like Crocodile "fake key in a Crco's belly" trick from Alabasta. Wait, was there a "none of them" option?

I say gooooo Usopp! He was the one that snuck into her car on the train to try to free her, I think he's going to be the one that frees her in the end. And of course, he needs to do something heroic for the crew so Luffy will let him return (and so he will feel worthy to be a Straw Hat), so I definitely think Usopp deserves the honor.

My pick is other and i think Robin will get the cuffs off herself and surprise spandam and everyone else too. But i admit that the chances of that happening are low as it would make the fights pointless in eyes of many even thoguht SH's were forced to fight.

umm.. my guess is ussop too.. since he throw himself out of the group… he need to play the main role in helping SH to retrieve robin in order to gain his pride so that the crew and himself(ussop) are not feeling guilty about ussop back in the crew...
oda wouldnt let ussop go away... neither do i want him out... so its ussop who will get the key..

I think all the keys are real but they are like a jigsaw puzzle, you have to get all of the pieces together for it to work.

Well, here's something to consider…the only way they'll probably KNOW which key is the right key is that they'll each have to try their keys. Unless there's something about the key that they can tell is fake once they hold it (doubtful). So it may end up that who gets the real key is not really important, because they all will have to get to Robin and try the keys. Hence, I'm thinking that none of the keys will be real and they will find another way to loose the cuffs.

But in all seriousness I can see Lucci having it but handing it off to Spandam but when he sees Lucci get defeated he might do something desperate like throw the key down that waterfall/black hole and then laugh his ass off while doing that.

I second that. I think all the keys are fake, and Spandam has the real one, but he'll throw the key when he'll see that Luffy has won the battle against Lucci.

I'll bet Jabura has the key (which means Sogeking will get it.)
Simply because Jabura is one of the three strongest CP9… and Spandam MAY have seen Blueno beaten, but he still believes there's no way for anybody to take down Kaku, Jabura, or Lucci. I chose Jabura over Kaku because Jabura's probably spent more time working under Spandam than Kaku or even Lucci, who were both at Water 7 for a number of years.

I think Sogeking's got the wits to pick the lock even if he doesn't have the key.
But at the other side of the coin, there could be a complete surprise pulled in it.
I'm gonna say "Someone acting on Ao Kiji's orders." Why? In a way, he needs Nico Robin as an adversary. How hard would it be to pass an order like "transport the prisoner to a holding yard" with full knowledge she'll go Hana Hana on the guy assigned to do it? It's plausibly deniable, but still puts her back in play and continues the chase.

I think that one of the cp9 legitimately does have the key that will unlock the seastone.

At first I thought none of the five would have it, but as has been pointed out, Oda's already done that before. We have to give him more credit than that. He's also done the 'we have the key, and inexplicably lost it' before, way back fighting Buggy.
So I'll have to go with logic for a change and bet Kaku has it. Highest douriki, plus calmest personality. Plus, I can just picture Soge's and Nami's reactions after fighting a harrowing battle… and finding out it was completely unnecessary. (Just like the Strawhats never went through any of the doors the Franky family opened)

i'm really not sure. either franky or sogeking, probably. but i don't think it'll be as easy to get the cuffs off robin. it might be a trick, a trigger of something OR they might have to do something drastic too in order to save her.

I figure that Usopp needs the brownie points with Luffy, but then again Franky's gotta make amends too, after the Usopp incident. So… it'll be one of the two, I think.
Though, like I said in the spoiler thread, I think maybe that all five keys could be fake, but whether Oda would play that card again, I dunno seems kind of doubtful.

i think that all the key that cp9 bring are fake due to the madness that spadam have, he probably just want to take the time so that he can escape with robin and bring her to the gate of justice. but is any of the key is true i probably hope that ussop will bring it to robin… this is because it can be the good reason for ussop to joint the crew again

I voted Usopp, but I reckon Usopp or Zoro will bring the real one. They are fighting the two strongest guys of the 5, so from the CP9's point of view its less likely they will be able to get the key.
Also Usopp needs something that shows he's not a burden to the crew and Zoro didn't trust Robin for a long time so its a way of showing her 'yeah, I trust you now' kinda thing.

I voted for Chopper since he seemed to be the most impropable of them all and with Oda being the master of unpredictability Chopper ought to be a good choice.
