let's talk about 4kids on yugioh. lets sse the voices are good,yes yes jonouchi's voice sucks, but i like it :P. the cards are horrible no name no effect. what the heck???????????????? and lastly the name changing. bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I stopped watching dubbed Yugioh for these reasons:
Mai's voice
They Americanize way too much
I hate 4Kids
4Kids think One Piece is a "Kid's show"
Why watch WB when the Uncut DVDs come out.

What 4Kids did to Sanji
Too many pointless edits and changed names -
I don't know much about what was edited into Yugioh. I only watch the 4Kids version so I'm pretty much left in the dark. Except for the Varon vs. Jounouchi battle that I was looking forward to. I was dissapointed though.
Mai's new dub voice is horrible and I really don't like how Jounouchi talks. He's my favorite character, and aside from the Yugioh movie. (the one with the red eyes black dragon card and when Yugi makes the Red eyes meteor dragon one not the Anubis one) I've never seen any Yugioh in japanese, I'm not sure if I remember his voice.
I'm interested to be informed about all the changes, it'll be great. -

and i was dissapointed too for the duel of Jounouchi and Varon -
They edited out all the parts where either Jonouchi and Varon were hit with white flashes, and any kind of wound, plus when Jonuchi gets punched in the stomach and coughs up blood, they made him go "Unngh, you!" before the rest of the scene was even finished. Damn 4kids, damn them to hell.

I like their Yu-Gi-Oh dub. It's really the only dub of theirs I ENJOY.
Most of the voices are very good, sure some of the editing is bad, but they still GET RID OF PEOPLE. Banished to the Shadow Realm is better than "getting sent to the hospital"
I can't wait for more uncut DVDs

It's just that their OP dub sucks so much more than their YGO one that irks me; at least, in ONE episode, I felt the voice actors were giving a good performance. I don't recall the exact one, but… It was actually pretty good.
... Then I watch part of an episode of the current arc, and nothing's really all that better. Thankfully I have been spared from hearing Mai's new voice, at least. Dark Yugi still sucks.

I remember earlier in the series, they'd shorten duels by showing a few select clips while playing some lame, inspiration music (ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOUR FRIENDS AND DON'T BE AFRAID! LA LA LA LA LA!) And they named that one guy Panic.
