Some kid I know doesn't pronounce Kon right and it sickens me. He also does the same thing with Gon from HunterxHunter. He says they are pronounced as Kawn (like pawn) and Gone ( like gone, as in He's gone away) I know that the right way to say it is, Kone ( as in Ice cream cone) and Gon, (as in bone). Help. :(

I have to agree with KatanaJon
and the kid is right, if you're still not convinced just listen to how they say the names in the anime

It's Kon, pronounced Ka-hn, and Gon, pronounced Gone. It's that damn easy.
