For the last week or so, I've been captivated by the bewilderment that is Shadow of the Colossus. It is truly one of the most beautiful games I've ever played. The music (especially the battle themes) is absolutely breathtaking. And the battles, oh the battles.
In this game, you are a red-haired hero named Wander, who has crossed into forbidden lands in hopes of resurrecting a woman, whose relationship to Wander is unknown. In order to revive her, you must rise up and slay the colossi incarnations of the 16 idols that line the walls of the giant shrine you begin in. Thus, armed with only a sword and bow (and arrows of course), you and your trusty stead set out upon this quest.
Truly amazing game. It's not for everyone though. I'd definately reccomend renting or in some way testing out the game before one thinks about purchasing it.
So, here's my thread dedicated to an excellent game made for the PS2. I'll now continue with the actual meat of the thread (which is, anything related to this wonderful game of course).
SPOILERS BELOW
I've beaten the game on easy and now I'm going through time attack (on normal of course). Now I'm curious, if anyone here even plays the game, can anyone offer any hints/tips on how to beat colossus #6 in NTA? o_o The closest I came to defeating this dude is when I just finished the vital point on his head and had 15 seconds left to do the one on his back. I'm guessing I'm probably going to have to find a different way to beat him other than racing to the columns at the end, hiding, then climbing up his beard to beat him. Man, he shakes his head around like a nut.
