Anyone getting this game? I believe it is out for the US in Valentine's Day (Just two days away). The game looks really sweet so far, and has the class the other games did.
If you want more information about it, then the check the official site:

The game has an awesome pedigree and looks absolutely beautiful, but I just haven't had the time for playing games lately. It's on the list of games I want to play, but I might just wait until it becomes a greatest hits title and grab it for cheap.
This is definitely a game I am so going to get. With amazing graphics and a unique battle system that's similar to Grandia Extreme (which I haven't played but want to now). Also the character design are awesome and amazing.
Although I heard that character development is weak as you see many characters in the game that you think are important but only move on past them.
I'm really looking forward to the battle system and the flying system. But there's still one problem that I just can't get over. How does the main character's mother look so young that she can be mistaken as his sister?
I might get it but I heard that the replay value is low so it would be better for me to rent it until the price goes down.
I loved Grandia II so I'll definately be getting this, though personally, I wouldn't have minded for them to wait for PS3 and release it on that…ah well.
I'm going to wait until it comes out and read the reviews. I don't have the money to buy both Tales of Legendia and Grandia III so I'll see which one appeals to me more and buy that one and wait a while for the other.
Ign has a review if you're interested in it
nice review, I could live with that, now to steal money to buy it. mwahaha
Prolly save my bandwidt…..I mean "money".....on KH2, Suikoden 5, Onimusha DoD and FF7: DoC. Man, PS2 is going out kicking and screaming isn't it?
GASP?! Downloads? Oh noes >_>
anyway, yeah this is actually rather odd, generally when systems start dying down making way for the new one…the games usually come to a trickle...but not PS2 o.o
that's mostly because the PS2 is awesome.
ok, what might happen to me if i play grandia III while i didn't play the I or the II? is it ff-like of dq-like and the story is'nt connected or what?
the story is not connected so you won't miss much
When I saw the trailer, heard the theme music again, and concluded that the battle system was intact…it took me .01 nanosecond to decide that I CRAVED this game, and I began squealing "joygasm!!", jumping in my seat...
Erm, in other words, Grandia I and II are some of my most favourite RPGs', so this is a no-brainer. Especially since a Grandia final boss-tradition seems to be preserved.
I've been thinking if I should get this game or not. When I look at the game, I get the feeling to just buy it, but for some reason I cant force myself to do so.
It's a pretty short game with challenging boss fights so you should probably rent it or wait till the price goes down.
Grandia I, II, and Xtreme were awesome play-throughs.
I don`t have plans on purcashing Grandia: Parallel Trippers either.
Well, I purcashed Grandia III and it is insanely awesome. I have to say, its notas good as II or I, but it
s better than Xtreme.
I'm pleased with the purchase, the story isn't the best in the world, but that shouldn't be why you're playing it in the first place. The battle system is what this game is all about, just as good as Grandia II's and improved upon, plus the humor is pretty good.
Though you might want to rent it or check out some gameplay videos if you're having some doubts. I hear I have low standards when it comes to games.
