Ok guys, I seriously need some help since my knowledge of the english language is not good enough to determine a good and catchy naming myself. I´ll give a "short" explenation of the situation.
I´m doing the The One Piece World section at the main site and need some input here. The structure is nowhere near finished so you don´t need to tell me that´s incomplete. I have a what I consider very well worked out concept and I will get to it step by step. So let´s not talk about the structure until I didn´t take it to the finish.
Ok the problem is as follows. I need a good name to classify the entire space under the sea. There´s three different environments in the OP world. The surface, the sky and depths of the seas.
The first one can easily be classified as Blue Sea. There are different places like East Blue, West Blue or the Grand Line but still they all fall under Blue Sea. The second one is the Sky Ocean. We have the White Sea and the White White Sea there. It´s two different sea´s but they are part of the larger construct which is the Sky Ocean. Just like West Blue and East Blue etc. make the Blue Sea.
Well and of course there´s the sea below the surface. So far that place got only shown in Hatchi´s side adventure. We´ve seen different people and creatures aswell as different places. It´s not much what we´ve seen but it´s enough to establish the fact that this is a totally different place since they do exists but aren´t shown on any Blue Sea map anywhere.
And with Impel Down which lies under the surface of the Blue Sea and with all the theories about the Merman islands and sunken islands there´s a chance that the depth´s of the sea´s will get featured in the main story at some point.
Therefore I´m searching for a decent name to classify that place but I as I said, I´m not good with naming stuff since my english skills aren´t good enough to determine whether something sounds proper or not.
To make a long story short, I´d like to hear anyone who´s interested out on what they consider good names for this environment. The (partwise crappy) names I came up with so far are:
- Sub Ocean
- Sub Sea
- Deep Ocean
- Deep Sea
- Ocean Floor
I´m not to happy with either of them. So if there´s any better please let me know. And one of them isn´t too bad either then just let me know. The help would be gladly appreciated.
