I wouldn't be surprised if allot of little kids try to run away and become pirates because of Dub Piece. Hell those little suckers are quite impressionable. I remember when kids were trying to use kung fu like the power rangers and the ninja turtles because of the shows.

Sorry for ignoring you. Actually, I find it a little difficult to catch all of the edits at regular speed. You can definitely tell where these edits are while watching, but I find myself having to either pause a lot or rewatch, so no, no first view ever.

Writing this episode up probably took about an hour and a half… Some of the write-ups at the beginning episodes took half an hour at most Fantastic Voyage still wins with a good.. 4-5 hours with the Arlong episodes closely behind it. I felt so sick at the end of Fantastic Voyage.

Hey, Cinder - I just saw that Luffy vs. Croc. Part 1 clip that you have. While somewhat humerous, Luffy's voice seemed unusually deprived of emotion. Although I liked the part where he compares the whirlpool of sand to a toilet… what's up with Crocodile's response? "I guess that makes you a desert doo doo." That line sounded so wrong coming from Crocodile. But I'm surprised they kept the dried, shriveled-up arm in there.

It looks like they changed "Gum-Gum Axe" to "Gum-Gum Battle Axe" (I guess to match Viz, since that's what they call it in the manga).

Hmmm… Damn edit in the end. The episode wouldn't have been that bad (well, for this dub) without it....

Right…I will believe that when 4Kids shows us. Skypedia will be edited heavy. Plain to point. Which is sad, because Skypedia is a great arc in the One Piece story.

That's what he did. Do you remember the voice from the beginning of the phone call? That was BW. Then Sanji talked. He gets shot, then Chopper talks on the phone. On the next episode, it seems that they reveal this at the very beginning. He gets Chopper to talk on the phone ~_~ I just ask.. why?

Yep! The letters were still intact and so were Spiders Cafe and the "Closed" on the door. Another one was the VIP (with the pirate/vip mini sign). Mr. Prince's note was replaced with a "Mr. Prince was here".

Yosh, it seems that Robin's bounty is 79mil right? She went down by 9mil >.>; Those cheap navy bastards!

Even though the situation is so dire, everyone can't help but make jokes every time they open their mouths. -_-;

Update: Hmm! Gomu Gomu no Dame Da became Gum Gum No Way and Gum Gum Keep Away. And the kid who wants to join the rebels (and sees the truth about Mr. 2/King) sounds more realistic than Scorpion's kids!

Not sure if it's the difficulty that's causing this. I just checked, and Smoker originally says "over 70,000,000" (nana-sen-man). I don't think it'd hurt for them to add the word "over", though, just for accuracy. If I recall, this ain't the first time they did something like this.

Wow…Luffy sounds a lot better when hes fighting then i thought it would be. And his anger towards crocodile was really impressive i thought.

While i liked crocodile's voice its just that godamn lame lines for him suck >>

Also i was very disapointed with the "It's Yuba!" line considering that may be the best crocodile moment ever.

As for ms. xmas's voice. I thought it was annoying as hell tho the japanese one is too. I like ms.doublefinger's voice. Kinda sexy.

Crocodile - sounds good. His voice sounds fimilar.
Mr. 1 - stereotype black muscleman.
Ms. New Years - one of the best.
Mr. 2 - voiced by Foghorn Leghorn??!!
Mr. 3 - weird.
Mr. 4 - sounds like Homer Simpson in slow motion.
Ms. Groundhog Day - a bit too tough mama-like.

Oh, I noticed this edit. 4Kids doesn't like choking but this just looks so stupid.
