It's not nearly as good as some others, but it was in regards to Skypiea. The original writer of the thread called it Skypaya, and Christy wanted so much to call it "Skypapaya!" laugh

Because the dub hasn't come back on and we have nothing to bitch about. You see, we love to bitch. I go through my day just looking for things to complain about to people online. Like for instance, people telling me not to watch the dub. Seriously, do you really think you're the first? What dazzling and radical new ideas! O.O floor'd

Basically, there is no reason. Boredom….. I suppose. Though I haven't watched the dub since sometime in October, really. Yet watch as I still complain, ha ha! >:D I used to watch it for the humors editing, but then it got kinda boring.

It's just different ways people deal with things. If you don't like to read people ranting about the dub, then take your own advice and ignore it instead of whining about it, since ignoring problems is what makes you happy.

Picking apart a show is something like a comparison.

Complaining does not equal picking apart.

It's strange, I read a similar post on another forum I went to, and people actually seemed to understand that if you don't like it, don't watch it. It wasn't a full anime forum, but it was a One Piece topic. Maybe different age acts differently

We aren't watching the same episode over and over again. Some episodes are actually done decently. If you're a play enthusiast, you would probably find yourself going to a bad plays and writing bad critiques about them. There's always a place for observing what producers do wrong to contrast it to what others do right. I like to be in tune with exactly what the producers of 4Kids are doing to the show that I love and what they're trying to pass off to kids.

Remember when discussion threads actually contained discussions?

The reason why there hasn't been much discussion is because the dub has been on hiatus for over a month, so therefore there is nothing to discuss that hasn't already been discussed.

Of course! If it wasn't, I wouldn't do it! I don't mindlessly bash the show, though, I give my critical opinion of what they did to ruin the episode, or give my approval when they actually do something right. It gives you a different perspective on what it is about the show that makes it so good, when you see how bad it can be when those aspects are removed. I appreciate the Japanese production more.

Well, the only thing I can say to that is, sorry, you just have to deal with it. There will always be people complaining. Unless someone gets permission to start another dub discussion thread where no criticizing is allowed, but the only people who would do that are mostly people who are only fans of the dub, and they are in very short supply around here. If the dub wasnt' so awful, there probably wouldn' t be much discussion about it at all. But since you don't watch the dub, I don't understand why you are even in this thread in the first place. If you aren't watching it, you have nothing to add to the discussion. This discussion we are having here is just as off-topic as the 4Kids forum posts, it's just a lot less entertaining.
