Sorry for making another topic about a Miyazaki work. :P
Porco Rosso came out on DVD last month, and I finally picked it up. This is my first Miyazaki film, and I loved it. I learned about it after reading a really great article on Miyazaki in The New Yorker, and I knew that a film about a pig flying an airplane was for me. The film had good amounts of action, comedy, and heart. It was pretty heartwarming.
The dubbing was pretty good, at first Michael Keaton seemed to be a little too unemotional, but I compared it to the japanese track and there was just as much emotion there, so the dubbing was pretty dead on.
I'll have to check out more Miyazaki flicks, the one I want to see most is Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro.
Anyone else see Porco Rosso?
