Several thoughts.
1. It's nice to see an AMV that obviously didn't take someone 6 years to make with 27 video and image editing software packages. Fond memories of AMV from days gone by.
2. In that same sense, given the direct pop-culture references within the song it is almost a shame that the quality (and for that matter choices of material) were not of a superior otaku-like quality. It could have been a lot funnier with scenes that fit the lyrics/characters even better and I was somewhat bored up until about 2:30 where it was pretty funny and utilized some excellent choices.
A good AMV. Nostalgic pretty much sums it up.

An interesting AMV to see. The music is has a catchy tune, but I've gotta agree with Omae's second point. It had potential to be more fun to watch as well.
