About the official Toei site(s)

Sorry if it was mentioned somewhere before but I didnÂ´t find any thread that mentioned it so I opened a new one.

To get to the point, IÂ´ve heard a while ago that there was two different Toei One Piece sites. A new and an old one. The only one I know is this one. And I canÂ´t really tell whether it is old or new because the updates are a bit sloppy here.

For instance the link here featured the new ending "Dear Friends" which is now gone again. Apparantly for the new 17th ending. So it seems to be up to date. But then on the other hand the same link has Vivi and Carue on top of the bar while Robin isnÂ´t there. (Not to mention that the images are from the Bon Voyage opening.)

And the last update of the character section (which for some reasone I canÂ´t open anymore) was the four priests of Upper Yard. Enel wasnÂ´t even featured in that section.

So is this the new site that leaves a lot to be desired or is it the old site.

Or was the talk about two different sites a rumor that IÂ´ve picked up somewhere? :molly:

Simple answer, Toei is lazy when it comes to websites.

I second Buuhan, though Toei is hardy alone in this matter. Most of these websites are designed by professionals, and those professionals demand a pretty penny for their work; it's no wonder 4Kids and Viz rarely update their websites. They're expensive.

Ivotas, I do believe that is Toei's olde website, though I have not heard of anything about a "new" one. Well, hold a moment. I remember there being an OP movie website, but not a new Toei one, though I do remember visiting something along those lines...urhm...

...no, no Toei website, but THIS one appears updated from when I visited last.

Coincidentally enough they just seem to have updated the character section. The Upper Yard section (that so far only featured the 4 Priests) now even has Enel, aswell as all the Shandians, Nola and Hotori and Kotori. Funily enough they donÂ´t list Yama though, which is indeed strange seeing it as SatoriÂ´s brothers are there.

New character groups that have been added are Shandora, Longring Longland and the Foxy Pirates. Not bad at all.
