I don't really watch TV anymore, so I'd say my favorite shows are the same as those in my childhood: "Ren & Stimpy", "Married with Children", "MST3K", and "Iron Chef". Great stuff, and I'm sure there's more that's missing.
From time to time I always like to watch my cartoon/kids channels, never really grew out of that phase. I also like to watch shows about famous eateries around the country and the world and animal documentaries. I've also dabbled into some recent MTV stuff, like new "Beavis and Butthead" and those hokey teen reality/doc shows. I got into "House" when my roommate from last school year would watch it, and I recently watched "Portlandia" at a friend's house and it has a great, unique sense of humor. My friend kinda descried it as "Tim and Eric" without being disgusting, and I can see that.

CommunityI feel like most of the long running shows I watch aren't as good as they were in their prime, but I still really enjoy the character interactions in all of those shows and they're entertaining enough keep up with weekly.
I'm also giving Once Upon a Time a chance.
If it's on I can watch Law and Order SVU or Iron Chef. I also like the Thundercats remake and Young Justice.

I watch very little tele.
Doctor Who's my favourite programme ever, however, along with Torchwood and such. So good.
Comedy-wise, Peep Show is the only ongoing sitcom that I particularly like. Still haven't watched The Big Bang Theory. -
