Thanks, but Rin found me a torrent on ISOhunt and its over half done. That link will probably be useful to someone looking for it tho.

Hey Buuhan, can you show me this Torrent?
That link that igalsfy left says it doesn't work on Windows Office XP (that's what I think I have.)

It's a torrent to a Windows XP Install Disc. anyone with Windows XP van use this Disc to install the IME.

Buuhan lost his actual one though XPI also have Windows XP and I also lost my Install Disc.
What are the chances?
EDIT: I tried Igalsfy's link and it didn't work. The link worked but the download didn't.
So the sooner I get the torrent the better.

It didn't work. I tried going to some sites with Japanese characters on them and they still had the squares and junk.
I guess God hates me.
-
Are you trying to input Japanese characters or just view them? Cause that'd be two different process.
-
To type Japanese you need the IME, to view it you just simply need the japanese fonts, Rin sent me the fonts so ask her for them.
-
Ohhhhhhhh.
Well I do want to do both so how do I get the fonts?

Or this:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/downloads/recommended/ime/default.mspxForgive me if I ask stupid questions but I´m not good with these kind of things. In your link it says that Windows XP users don´t need to download this new IME´s.
Well, since I´m one of them, what do I need to do now? I can show japanese sings but I can´t write them.

those who Have windows XP can simply Install IME right off the Windows XP disc.
You go to Controll Panel, Regional and Language options -

You go to Controll Panel, Regional and Language optionsHmm, I guess the combination of being to stupid for these kind of things and having a german version of Windows XP makes it impossible for me to follow that instructions. I don´t have the slightest idea how to I get to stuff like "Regional" once the disk is running. Anyways thanks for the info.

Most definitely. Thanks a lot igalsfy. Now I was finally able to not only install only japanese but actually even cyrillic yugoslavian. I guess now I only have to work out which keys have the remaining couple of cyrillic letters, aswell as checking out how to write in Hiragana.
But I guess that I won´t be needing help for that. The help options should probably do the job. Again, thanks a bunch igalsfy. You surely knew how to explain it that even I understand it. :adore:
