By swearing (or indicating the act of such) and name-calling aren`t you proving his beaten-dead horse extreme stance on the overall issue, which is more a platform to gain attention than anything personal to him for sure.

Even giving him some undeserved credit, and saying that he can be excused from being totally misinformed does not explain the presence of comments such as this:

Oh I never said anyone should be depraved of their right to be angry. However, calling names is just proving his various rantings and ravings.

All of this has nothing to do with what he thinks is right. It has to do with what kind of headlines it will gain him in the New York Times.
