Apparently, there is going to be a new Digimon anime, Digimon Savers, coming out soon. So far, there has been no official announcement about the plotline or characters, but there is speculation that it might, in fact, be a continuation of Digimon Tamers (the 3rd season).

Personally, if this actually IS a continuation of Tamers, then I will be VERY happy, as it was always my favorite Digimon series. But who knows?

Personally, Digimon Tamers wasn't my favorite series. But compared to Frontier, I rather take a continuation of Tamers. I don't trust them to come up with a good story or digivolution idea anymore.

IÂ´ve never watched Frontier so I canÂ´t base any judgement on that. However after witnessing how bad Digimon seasons continuations were, Season 2 sucked big time in comparison to season 1, I was actually happy that my favorite series Tamers wasnÂ´t continued.

Tamers had great writing, but due to it's really depressing/psycho feel I found it harder to watch than Seasons 1 and 2. Fronteir had potential . .. . but taking away digimon partners just made it really boring.

I liked Frontier, but thats just my opinion…I guess.. didn't really get into Tamers that much, anyways.. I will be looking forward to this.

I liked Tamers a lot, but "The Ripper", or "Deripper", or however you called it, was an awful final boss, and the last episodes stinked.
The first and second seasons were very good, but the second seemed incomplete(the monster of the dark sea, that second golden digiegg from the movie(where did it come from?), Patamon and Gatomon hyperevolutions in the movie(the same question from before)…).
About the fourth season, at the beggining I tought(boys that turn into digimons...looping the loopÂ¬Â¬) but at the end was quite good. At least they could have shown us those 10 warriors like they seemed in the opening(only two of them appeared in the only movie for this season).

By the way, there was a movie last year that was a prelude for this season, wasnÂ´t it? That one all in 3d...

Nope, I thought Zero Two was good, especially when compared to Tamers and Frontier. I watched Digimon Adventure first, I thought it was the best, still do. Zero Two was really good, especially with a badass character like the Kaizer (Emperor for you dubbies). I could stand a couple of episodes of Tamers, didn't like it too much though, and I can't really even pull myself to watch a full episode of Frontier without wanting to turn it off. I believe the Digimon series went like a downwards parabola, Adventure starting at the apex, and everything going downhill from that.

This new one probably won't have anything to do with any of the other Digimon series out there. That's my guess at least.

season 3 was stupid. I didn't mind season 4 because they had like 7 people again.

Heck no, 02 was my favorite! I loved that season to death. Some things were rather strange until I later realized that there were parts that were scenes from videogames and books. (Ryo and that one Dark Ocean ep)

I love season 1, the English version that is. I tried watching the Japanese with subtitles and I much prefer the Eng. one.

Season 2 was…ok, I guess...I don't like Davis.

CITV showed 3 episodes of season 3 and that's it, but it looked ok...

And I never saw Season 4, but it looks crap.

Season 5 should be...good...maybe...

Season 5? Cool. Season 3 is my favorite, although it got a bit dry with the D-Reaper stuff.

Well, I didn't like Season Two's ending. MaloMyotismon was destroyed by the wishes of children, for crying out loud! Also, I think that Dragomon and Daemon could have been used more.

One of the biggest strikes against the second season versus the first to me was the ability to leap back and forth between the worlds more or less at will. In the first series, they were trapped in the Digital Realm and more or less swept along by events whether they wanted to be or not.

The sense of danger is lessened as a result; the less threatening villains didn't really help either. Even Etemon, who was more for comic relief as well as a complete and total tool, was able to hand two Champions their asses at the same time while fighting another Digimon at the same level as himself.

Tamers (which I'm guessing was season 3) was really the best season to me, but I really lost intrest after so many episodes.

Can I just ask a question? The third season was the one where they like swiped cards to do atacks right? Well that one was definetly my fav. Then obvioulsy the second one with its D.N.A. digivolve. My god that was the shitXD Then of course the original was the seires that got me involved

The Singapore dub was shittier than the US dub.
The same voices…over and over again...even for different characters.
Season 2 was the same as Seasons 1,3 and 4.

I actually got a big kick out of season 4. Season 1 is a classic, and the charicters in 3 seemed so believable. Sorry to say, 2 impressed me the least. It reminded me of one of those 2nd movies Disney releases, to squeeze some extra cash out of us. When I saw the conclusion to season 2, I was banging my head against the wall.
btw, I would love to get a hold of episodes from any season. sub or dub. Anyone know where I can go? (i've got all of tamers dubbed, cept ep. 24)

Season 1 - The Digi Destined

Season 2 - The Digi Destined older, with new kids

Season 3 - Set in the real world right? The Tamers?

Season 4 - Digimon Frontier? Is this where they became Digimon through transformations? I liked the plot between the two brothers.

How was the Digimon movie? It looked like they took characters from the first three seasons right? The designs anyway.

There are 7 movies based in the 4 seasons. Digimon The Movie, the one that appeared in cinemas here, was really 3 of those movies: the two movies from season 1(when agumon appears in the real world and the Diaboromon and the internet) and one from season 2(the one with terriermon).
The second movie from season 2 was about Diaboromo again, who appeared in the real world…I donÂ´t remember too much about the other 3(2 from season 3 and 1 from season 4) so I wonÂ´t talk about them

I actually hated digimon in general until one saturday morning, just out of sheer luck, I was flipping channels and came across the scene where Ken finally realizes his evils, discards his emperor montage, and then wormmon just DIES right in his arms. :bawling: Began following the show intently after that. (although the tokyopop manga of it sucks really bad)

You've got no idea of the suckage….. the art is decent, but the whole of season 02 is summarized into two volumes, at about 100 pages each. o__o
