Well, it looks like they didn't show Franky on the scrap island after being hit by Puffing Tom. But, I think those who aren't manga readers would know how he became a cyborg. That whole scene was so well done, and the entire episode was alot sadder than I remember.

Actually, a group called ADC Fansubs Has had these Episodes out for a while… Their Subtitles arent the Best though. There was a part where Franky yelled something I'd Translate as "What the Hell?!" and they put "WTF?!" not the Full thing, but just those 3 letters...
I'm SO glad Geru-sama Is catching up...

Anyway, those two episodes are probably among my favorites. I just love Franky's past, and the animation in 251 is awesome. Now that I've learned more about Robin's past in the manga, when Iceburg asked her if she learned nothing from the example of Ohara, now her reaction totally makes sense.

There was one thing that bugged me in the translation - in the beginning in 250, Spandam says "my fellow criminals" to Tom, Franky, and Iceburg…did he really say that, or is that a mistranslation? Because thats' implying that Spandam thinks of himself as a criminal too. =)

I've also wondered at the spelling "Lucchi". And I'm not talking about Ls and Rs. The thing is, when you have two c's together, it makes a "ch" sound. Like Capuccino (ca-pu-chi-no) If you add an h after the two c's, it makes a K sound. Like macchiato (ma-ki-atto). So Lucchi would be pronounced "Looki".

I looked over Stephen's scripts and did not find any line like that. Perhaps you are correct,

Not surprising, One Piece is big over there so they probably have some big sponsers. Best One Piece episodes I've seen yet, keep em coming Geru!

It's very, very, very late mentioning this, but I see I small mistake in episode 250, Kokoro (that's her name right?) at 14:55 says "Tom-san can longer be saved."
