Well I just played completely through One Piece Dragon dream and during the credits….there were character sprites I never recall fighting or teaming up with. Mihawk, Franky, Aojiko is to name a few, I know you talk to Aojiko at the begining of the game but you don't fight him or anything. Did I miss something here?
One Piece Dragon Dream characters.
-
-
you get extra levels when you finish it..
-
Really? cause I went through those extra islands on that extra thing and I still didn't see them fighting.
-
Dito, the only person I saw I don't recall fighting on the extra levels was Enel.
-
Wasn't it a code or something? I aint played the game before so I could be wrong, I'm just going by what I read on adifferent topic.
-
A unlockable code? Why would they have characters like that in the credits? I really want these 3.
-
I think I can help out. I'll probably end up using these for the on-going DD guide at AP.
At the credits you probably saw these, which are the "passwords" for the Afro Mic.
Right, so at stage 11, there's an island with an Afro Mic. You'll come across a screen like this:
Put in Ao Kiji's password first, exactly how you see it.
Ao Kiji: なまはむめろんNew island-swirly thing o.o (forgot what they're called). Go and fight Ao Kiji (he's incredibly easy… and the english text is just a bonus, I was bored)
After defeating him, there's an Afro Mic icon that replaces him, so input Mihawk's password in next:
What's bad is that you're forced to be Zoro, and he's the slowest character to use. You'll manage somehow…
Same pattern, this time for Franky:And then after defeating him, the island connects back to Noko, so beat him again if you want to. I hope this works out.
-
Thanks cinder but I'm still in trouble, first off the last safe I have on stage 11 is right before you fight the seahorse, which I guess is ok. I don't understand japanese so I don't know the codes for sure, if its there names I might be able to try and guess and hope the japanese letters is the same for the english just on the other side. Incase this don't work could you give me screens of which letters I need to put in?
Ok, I don't know the password, and japanese characters turn into question marks, help?
I tried translating the question marks and I got this from google "As for raw the む め ろ it is"
I wish I knew japanese ;_;
OOOH! The codes were on the credits, thanks I got it, I owe you Cinder, you are my god!
Some of these are tough cause I don't see the letter…like this backwards C with a long curved line over top.
FOUND IT! Ok, I'm gonna stop making this post longer, thanks Cinder.
eek...I can't beat mihawk...
Got him! Ok I'm gonna shutup now.

is their a patch for this game?!
(if i downloaded it though id have to start over >.>)
edit: shit i reread but still is their a patch. Also im stuck also im in the arlong ark and im stuck their is nothing to do except that stupid mouse game it isnt giving me any options. I beat the marines already and now im stuck XS
-
No its not a patch dumby lol, after you beat the game you are sent to a bonus stage after the credits, you then fight all the boses again. Then new credits role where the codes are…well...you saw cinders post.
-
I think Warp may have been talking about an English patch, couldn't be sure tho
-
I wish there was an english version of this, sure the game is good but it would be better if I could actually read it. If a program that edited games exsisted someone could translate it.

On the subject of DD, I'm on a mission where there are loads of tombstones and 2 of these stone tablets. In one area there is a single tombstone. What do I do?
-
I think you had to move the tombstones until something happened, or maybe just move a concrete tomb…
BTW, I´ve tried with the Aokiji password and it doesn´t work... T_T
-
Gah, I can't figure it out! …forget it.
Occaisionally, playing as Sanji, he does this thing where there's a blast of light, then his face appears at the top of the screen, as if he were doing a super move. Also, where I go next to one of my characters and press A+B, they do this thing called a "Mix Up". Can anyone explain what these things are?
-
Every character have 3 attacks(a, b and A+B). You can change them to do combos, and, eventually, the third attack will have that flash thing. The mix thing is easy: when light bulbs appear over your head and your nakama´s head, push A+B to do a duo attack: each character will do a different thing(Chopper heals, that´s the only thing I remember)

Haha, you're very welcome! That was an interesting reply ;]

Can you tell me which stage it's at? I'll take a look at it and then give you a guide.
I think you had to move the tombstones until something happened, or maybe just move a concrete tomb…

Did you pass the game already? I don't think the game will accept the passwords until you beat Noko once. It's either that or one of the characters are wrong?

I get the face cut-in lots too, mostly with him since I used him for the entire game (except for those where you're forced to use a certain character and some random boss battles). Maybe it also means that you timed it right so that you deal more damage. I'm not too sure, I never really paid much attention to the damage.
I've seen screenshots of Mix Up but I've actually never had one happen before. I'll keep trying to get it :o
-
awww… CRAP. It's been months since I played the game. now I find out when I open it up again that my brother restarted the game. Well, thanks anyways Cinder!
-
I've gotten about 3 mix ups before by complete mistake, 2 with Zoro and one with Sanji, if you got Luffy, Luffy basicly jumps out in the air with a grin on his face while a ring of fire shoots through the arena.
I too was at that tombstone place, I just skipped it, there are some missions which in my opinion are unable to be beaten and luckly they are all skippable.
-
I managed to beat almost all the misions, if you want the 100% you have to beat them when they appear, if you go to a different map you won´t be able to complete them
-
I don't really care for 100%.
-
Okay, just HOW THE HELL do I beat Mr 1? I get him to his 2nd phase and boom, can't hit him.
-
Be usopp and use the impact dial. Its so easy if you do.
-
Zoro was the only person I could beat with him, same with Hatchi due to some of Zoro's moves giving him advantages. (Like his move he jumps up and slices down for example he'll jump over attacks)
-
I just take the safe path and use nami to pinwheel the crap out of Mr. 1 <_< What interesting methods you have all brought up.
-
What I did was use Zoro and Oni Giri'd the Hell out of Mr. 1.
-
What you guys had onigiri what button was that. If it was an ab move i didnt have it. Cinder im just curious are you ever going to update the guide at arlongpark?
-
Oni Giri is a B attack, I believe…
And I'm now on the Buggy arc, thanks to Warp for the Impact Dial strategy.
-
Cinder im just curious are you ever going to update the guide at arlongpark?
I'm tied up with finals this upcoming week, so no updates on the site from me until the 29th at least. People actually know that little section exists??
-
If anyone lets me I would like to help out with the guide at AP, I don't know japanese but I would be able to do stuff like make gifs of the attacks cause I notice just Luffy's Gatling Gun & is Storm are up.
-
i need help with this. When i go to the cave its just that stupid mouse game. Then when i hit start there is nothing to do. Do i have to beat the mouse game? if so how. Ugh i cant avoid the mice
I'm pretty sure that this stage can't be avoided.
I suggest picking quick characters for this. That means no Zoro.
Basically the mice are there to hurt you and eventually kill you if you can't even get to the end. Take the first character you start with and notice the pattern the mice are moving. When there's a quick break, make a run for it and hide out of the way. If the gap to run through is too close, run back to where you were. It gets harder and harder as you have to dodge more mice. That's it, this is a mice-dodging game.
When one character gets to the end, flip the switch to open the door for the second character. Finish that one and do the same for the third.
Unfortunately I can't remember much more after that, but the main focus is just to use fast characters and be quick on moving as soon as a mouse runs by. At certain parts you can just run through if you have enough health, but the damage adds up pretty quick.
-
Is there anyway for people to gain heath.
-
Not in that stage, the healing items are usually found in crates and barrels in boss stages only.
The Kureha stage is a lot harder than the Nezumi stage
-
Heres what you do.
Characters to choose: Nami(First), Usopp(Second), Sanji(third).
Be sure to have Nami's attack which she shoots the eletric bubble out of her tact and the other 2 with fast attacks.
You can hit the mice and destroy them, other then that follow what cinder said. I could never beat Kureha's so I skipped it, while going back to old saves I went through Kurehas again with zoro…....somehow....I got through it without getting stuck with one knife.
-
This thread is like a gazillion years old, but I've got certain problem with the game, concretely with Laboon's stage.
Two characters, they can destroy masts in order to create paths over the water, apparently the goal is to reunite both characters but after destroying all masts there still isn't any common path for both, what should I do?
-
you just have to destroy a specific crate, which is random, so the point of destroying the masts is to let your characters get access to ALL the breakable crates. Sometimes the crate you gotta destroy is one of the closest ones to your character when you start the stage, so just break them all until you find the one you need.
-
Umm, are you sure it's a specific crate? I've done that stage several times and the goal is to destroy ALL crates and barrels, only upon doing so does the stage end. I believe the point is to get all the garbage out of Laboons stomach.
-
This post is deleted!
-
All right, thanks a lot!
Yeah, as Buhaan1 said, you have to destroy all of them, had to replay it twice and that's how it works.
EDIT: Well, I beat the game, shorter than I expected.
I got 97%, apparently I missed the Jaya/Skypiea part since I didn't see the Saruyama Alliance, Hina, Marine Jango, Fullbody, Enel, etc… (I fought Enel in the extra final map though) So, for future playthroughs... what should I do to get there, I saw Montblanc Cricket in Arabasta, I suppose I had to do something there.
-
I don't think there's a Jaya/Skypiea stage, I sure as hell never saw it. I've always been under the impression that Enel was simply an extra boss.
-
Yeah, you had to pick the right answer for whatever he was asking you (perhaps something to do with sky island, like if you believed it existed) and then you would eventually meet the rest of the alliance (I don't remember if all of them were at Arasbata). I guess it's one time thing because I had to start all over again in order to meet all of the alliance and get Luffy's rocket (dunno if there were any other moves you gained from meeting them).
I don't remember what I did to fight Hina, but I doubt it was a one time thing like the conversation with Cricket. I guess you just gotta complete the map (dunno which was it. Arabasta is the first one that comes to mind) to get the bonus fight with Hina, Jango and Fullbody.
-
So, you not only can meet the Saruyama Alliance, but you can have a three-way boss fight with Hina, Jango and Fullbody? Here I thought I did basically everything in the game… I blame it mainly on it being in a language I can't read. XD
But still, there is no Skypiea stage, you just meet and talk with the Saruyama Alliance?
