Well, as some of you may know, I've had a lot of difficulty getting into new anime recently. Most of the ones I see just seem to be the same old same old. But I'm REALLY liking School Rumble.
Granted. It does have some qualities of a typical anime - girl likes guy, but is afraid to tell him. However, there is also this crazy punk/yakuza-ish guy who is in love with the same girl - he is hilarious! Harima reminds me a lot of Onizuka (GTO). I like the dynamics with Harima liking Tenma - it brings something a little different to the table. They also go into the side characters a bit, and develope them, so they're not just 2D characters only there for T&A. I also like how there is fanservice, but it's not blantant, showing a panty-cleavage-ass shot every couple minutes.
It may not be the new Cowboy Bebop or One Piece on my anime list - but I do enjoy it. (Which is nice, because I've really been having trouble finding series I enjoy recently.) Does anyone else here like it…and further more...does anyone else know where I can get manga scanslations? It was bizarre - WALDENBOOKS had the frickin' Japanese tankabons (for double the price), and yet Kinokuniya and Book Off didn't.

Haven't seen the anime yet, but I think I might start watching it soon. I hear it follows the manga extremely well?
