Berserk episodes? Just go to any place you can buy/rent anime and I'm sure they'll have Berserk (I own the boxset). I HIGHLY SUGGEST you read the manga though. Ten times better than it's anime counterpart. (just like hellsing)
-
Dude, just buy or at least rent it. I picked up the Box of War boxset, real cheap two years ago, so I'm pretty sure you could find an online retailer selling it cheap too.

Thank you but i cant downloaded from anywhere its just in my country its hard to get anime
-
You're probably better off just getting the manga, then. While I personally preferred the anime in terms of quality, that was in part thanks to the English dub, as the Japanese voice acting is some of the worst I've ever heard. Plus, most people seem to prefer the manga, anyway, even if I don't.
…though no, I don't know where to download it either at the moment.

Yes manga has the whole story (not bits and pieces) and it's also more graphic, detailed, philisophical, and just plain bad ass.
-
you see the idea of reading something just gets me boared, But from what you people are telling me i think im changing my mind
-
The manga is better, however it is rather "epic" and long. 28 volumes with no end in sight yet. Worth every page to me, but some people aren't all that patient so the anime is a nice experience to start out with. And well, the seiyuu's may not be the "best" but they certainly fit the characters. The ones that matter anyhow
It's not difficult to find either on the internet, I would recommend to rent or buy it though.
it tot4lly rox dood

Not to mention the newest chapters come out about every three weeks to ensure the best quality possible and plot thicker than a fat biker chick with a mullet.
Yeah the manga takes a lot of thinking to truly understand. Hell most people don't know what Nexus is….or how much irony there is in the depiction of religion in Berserk.

Indeed. Frankly, I'm not ashamed to admit I don't understand (yet?) some of the concepts Kentarou-sensei is using myself. Idea of Evil? Huh? I tried reading the 5235235 page site on it to no avail  However that doesn't ruin my enjoyment, and I can't wait to see what it does mean.

Idea is the God above the Godhands. He is above nexus (the layer that the godhands live in) and controls a lot more than he leads on. He changed history so that Griffith could be born whe he was and would become the hawk. The savior of the people.
1000 years ago their was a kingdom ruled by a an evil king. The people cried out and hoped that someone would save them. The hope of thoughts of the people made the 5 God Hands come down pretty much out of nowhere and then from their on it's speculation. Some say Skull Knight was the King and that's why he hates Void (the brain guy). But who knows?
So anyway remember that chapter where it says the children have noticed something, the world is beginning to change? If you don't it doesn't really matter but the world is divided into 5 layers. The first two layers are the physical (basically the world we live in in real life) and the astral world (the world witches, apostles, ect. live in).
These world's were seperated by the ignorance of the people caused by the Church. That's why a lot of people couldn't see Puck….he lives in the astral world. Now the people are becoming aware of these weird ass things that are going and now the aposltes are able to cross over.
Just in time for the hawk too.
Idea has set all of this into motion and seems to control all of this....except for Gutts and Skull Knight. These two seem to escape fate and are slowly changing the course of history.
Irony, mind wrenching twists, and of course teh gore. What more would you want in a manga?
-
The problem with the theory is the fact that Gutts is supposed to be walking the same path as Skull Knight. Some say Gutts IS Skull Knight and others say Skull Knight was a rebel god hand.
Drives me up the wall that we have to wait so long to find out what the truth is.

Yeah, I understood the role he played in the Berserk universe as far as Griffith and the Godhands were concerned, but what he actually is, or at least the idea he is based on is pretty mindbending.
"The Idea of Evil is a peculiar entity that thrives of the subconscious desires of mankind. He was created by human desires for purpose for life, and thus Idea was born to then plot peoples paths through heavy influence." That's about as laymen termed an explanation that I can find. Kind of makes it easier to understand, heh.
The Gaiseric/SkullKnight theory makes sense to me as well. We'll see though. B)
