I honestly don't know if there has been a topic like this in the past but if there has been feel free to lock this one.

What is your favorite anime episode of One Piece? Dubbed or undubbed, it doesn't matter, just out of all the episodes, which one is your favorite and why.

Personally my favorite would have to be the episode where Zoro fights Mihawk, that was just so intense, it had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Plus it is the first time you actually get to see Zoro fight to his full potential, sure there were a few good battle before that like the battle with the Meowban(sp) brothers but this is Zoro fighting on a different level. This is also the first time you get to see Zoro use one of his more powerful attacks, before that he just used Demon Slash and Tiger Hunting.

I guess I just liked it because I am a ginourmous Zoro fanboy.

I don't really know, that's a difficult question. xD I've always said One Piece wasn't a 'one episode' type anime. Now, give me Naruto or Digimon or something, I would probably be more sure.

Well… I guess your right, but mine was really definite. I really did like the battle with Hatchi and the battle with Mr. 1 but none of them gave me the big rush like this one did.

The episode where Nami asks Luffy for help during the Arlong Park Saga. That was an emotionally powerful scene to me. One of only a hand full of episodes, I felt any emotion for.

My favorite episode… well, probably 236... The fight is just so emotional... That's probably the only time in the anime I've cried so far... It's just really well done in my opinion.

Although... 251 is also really good... 'Cuz of the whole thing with Merry... T_T

1. 37 (the one where Luffy puts his hat on Nami's head and they all go to kick Arlong's ass)
2. Not sure what number, but the last episode of Chopper's flashback
3. 236 - albeit somewhat painful to watch

2. Ep with Nami vs. Doublefinger? (forgot the name)
3. 130(?) when Robin joined. I found it amusing as hell.
4. One davy back fight filler where Nami had this evil idea: The 180 degree shiznit
5.Luffy defeating Crocodile
….etc.

For some filler humor, definitely 102 where Zoro, Chopper, and Luffy are lost in the desert 'cause of Luffy's little incident. That episode cracks me up, nya ha.

It's really hard to pick out single episodes, but I'll give it a shot…

86 - Second half of Chopper's past, and I was horribly, horribly, horribly, horribly pissed when I found out someone on tv.com said that it was boring. I think this might be around the part of the story that turned my already very high interest in One Piece into an obsession.
126 - Why, the finale of Luffy vs. Crocodile, of course. Nothing to really be said here.
151 - The episode with the meeting of the Gorousei to discuss Luffy. I just love everything that happens.
236 - This episode just blew me away. Period.

I think all of these episodes have already been mentioned, but what can I say? You gusy have good taste. I might be a bit off with the numbers, but there are a lot more episodes I love just as much, these are just a few that especially stand out to me. Overall, I'd have to say my favorite episode for the entire series is 86.

Odd. The first post has a really good scene no one has really been mentioning (mihawk duel). I was watching it with a friend and so many good things were happening at once, which never really happened in OP until that point (I was watching from the beginning with him). Sort of similar to the Mr. 1 fight, except it involves characters like Luffy shouting as a gut reaction that something serious has happened, and of course Sanji's reaction, both potentially seen as out of nowhere yet they go with the scene perfectly. Good development forms between characters and plot at this point, which can be a good eye opener for someone watching the series.

The episode with the wolves+crew around the fire is great, and not just because of that scene. Looking at that arc wholly makes it way better than some of the individual episodes during the Upper Yard part of Skypeia. The arc is sort of hard to follow if you look back on an individual episode basis.

What really makes no sense is the Little Garden ep where Usopp pulls out a million foot rope out of nowhere.

Ugh I hadn't realized I made that Mr.2 vs Bon Clay mistake til now I meant to say Sanji vs Mr.2 I'm just soooo embarassed right now but back to the matter at hand.

• The conclusion of the Kuro Arc,Luffy owning Kuro Rocked & Usopp disbanding the Usopp's Pirates was a real powerful moment.

• The episode where Hiruluk kills himself almost made me shed tears.

• Any episode involving Buggy

I agree, the Kuro arc was what told me: Holy crap, this is an incredibly awesome story. I was also very sad with the disbanding.

I was thinking of that scene, I was just trying to narrow things down. But that was one of those moments where I thought "whoa, these guys really mean business". Definately a defining moment in the show.

His bag is like Felix the Cat's magic bag, he can fit anything in it. Obviously the same rope was used to make his grappling hook…thing.

Oh yeah, me too but it was a manga moment for me. xD The exact moment Kuro was like 'I did all this for this day! The day I would kill you!' That's probably the turning point from me being a Naruto fan to a One Piece fan. (it was about neck and neck up till that point)

I don't remember the episode number but it was the one where Yosaku and Johnny were standing guard at Arlong's gate keeping all of the villagers out and then Luffy and the crew walked up all in a line. That part just had the cool vibe that is needed for a great episode and it also had great music. Plus it was a really emotional episode.

**Some of my favorite episodes/moments in no particular order:

Episode 151. It's just awesome to see al those big-shots. It was awesome when luffy thrashed bellamy. Plus you see whitebeard, shanks & crew, Sengoku and many more. It was at this ep. that I decided that somehow Rockstar is ging to become luffy's musician.

When they were all walking up to arlong park. We all know why that was so aweome.

The krieg/luffy fight,I don't know why.

Croc/luffy fight. Gomu gomu no storm made it that much better

Zoro/mr.1 fight Learns to cut steel :steve:

Chopper & Ussop/Mr.4 pair

The strawhats raid the franky family house. Plus we learn all 4 of them can break steel.

In arm point chopper made an imprint in steel effortlessly. So it's only logicall Sanji can break steel as well. Considering the amount of time it's been since Arabasta, I say all the strawhats should be able to break steel after the CP9 fight.

I can't say about past episodes… I just love them all and I won't remember a favorite without having to make a big list XD ....so... for Water 7 Arc until now I cry whenever I see 236, Usopp-saaaaan is the best and that bgm..."Because We're alive" just makes me think about my own friend-problems...sooo similar... (no happy ending though... ) and Mugiwara heading to Franky's House is cool too, but I prefer that in the manga.
