I've been trying to search around for apolyptical, end-of-the-world style orchestral music, but it's kinda hard since there's no definite genre for that. Are there any tips for me, or any songs you might want to recommend?
An example would be something like Good Charlotte's "The Battle For Life and Death" or perhaps this track from the Chronicles of Narnia:
I could try Apocalyptica :laugh:. A band consisting three or four cellists. And Muse has a song "Apocalypse Please". There, my ideas hits the wall.

Now if it's apocalyptic music you are searching for might I suggest 'O' Fortuna' of Carl Orff's Carmina Burana. If some of the lyrics sound familliar they should. They were ripped off for use in Seph's theme.
You also can't go wrong with 'In the Hall of the Mountain King'.
And let's not forget that old favorite: Dies Irae of Verdi's Requiem.
I highly recommend "Neodammerung" from Don Davis' amazing Matrix Revolutions score. It's my personal favorite,"End of the World/Final Battle" music out there.

I've tried game music, but most of the time they're sound like they're for games, so yeah. Will check it out though. Matrix Revolutions was another great track yeah.
