When I saw the trailer thing at the end, I thought it was a joke. Looks like I was wrong (I'm down with it). I wonder what kinds of gags will be in the next one (maybe that iPod dance…).

I used to absolutely love thar movie, but I've sort of lost interest in it.
Okay, I don't want to start any martial arts fights here, but I thought Kung Pow was a horrible movie.
I got a combinations of praises and hazes of the movies. As far as I've heard, it was good humor-wise, and it was bad story-wise (I don't know anything, never saw the movie…)
Whether the humor was good or not really depends on your taste. Story wise, it's nothing new. Choosen one stops bad guy and evil force.
Well I enjoyed all of the comdey scenes in the movie
-When the Sensei is half dead being carried by the Chosen One, the Sensei says to him "Tell me.. if you see a Radioshack."
-The Emperors people were eating and chanting Taco Bell
-When the Chosen one thought that the Sensei died in the fields, he walks up to him and sees hows hes all bloody and the Sensei says to him
-"Just because someone does this" drops down dead "Doesn't mean there dead yet"
Man.. I gotta see this movie again! XD
Think it has anything to do with age? I grew up with Naked Gun, Charlie Sheen and Emilio Esteves' spoofs. Looking back there are some funny scenes but they're nowhere near as funny as I thought they were when I was little.

Kung Pow was hilarious. I hope to see the sequel get made soon.
I saw the DVD when I was buying Vol. 9 of One Piece. I should've bought that, or at least rented it…sounds funny.
It is pretty funny (if that's your style). It's a big kinda, "stupid" funny, if you will, but I liked it.
It's like One Piece. Very hit or miss on who likes it. :p

I so loved that movie and like Solar Knight I thought the trailer at the end was just a gag. Nice to see I was wrong. I so much want to see the second part. :steve:

Actually…I believed the preview at the end of the movie was always gonna become true. I haven't seen this movie in atleast a year...maybe I should download it.............nah not worth the hunt and disk space.

Me too :laugh: I don't see how he managed to get the scene right without laughing his ass off. Maybe they filmed its seperate…hmmm..
Alot of the comedy was either A) something out there and unexpected (like the master not actually being dead), B) mocking the dubbing process (the dog barking and having the bark sound several seconds later, when the dog's mouth is already closed XD ) or adding in rediculous things obviously not in the original (squeaky shoes, dude with a boom box) and D) the way things were said ("Hey guys, what's going on?" "I'm bleeding, making me the victor!" "Memento…" "I AM FALLING!" and let's not forget "THAT'S ALOT OF NUTS!")
Man, I still <3 that movie and can't wait for the sequel~...
