I went to the store and saw this Love Hina Again DVD. I bought and watched it. After watching the 3 episode special, I suddenly noticed something different in Love Hina Again. Probablly because the main goal of getting inside Toudai is gone. Well, at least the setting should have been inside Toudai. But then, Keitaro decided to become an archeologist. The mood has changed. I mean, it's not like the old one. Keitaro and Naru seemed apart in the series. I dont mind Kanako, but it felt so different. Keitaro's stronger. He's not the wuss like before…Love Hina Again features the mature Keitaro. Hmmm....maybe I just didnt want Love Hina to end.
I did like the fan service they developed. <3
Something that dissapoints me in Love Hina Again

"Love Hina Again" is the "sequel" to Love Hina, right? I think it covers something along the lines of Volumes 8-14 in the manga.
Although I am tempted to delve into a manga dissertation, you are speaking of the Anime, which, although I have never seen, will be discussed.
…
People change. Keitaro got into Tokyo U, so he's obviously not going to remain the puny loser he was at the start of the series. Furthermore, getting into Tokyo U was only one half of the primary objective of the series; Keitaro's promise, though not explicitly stated, implied he would fall in love or start a relationship with the girl he promised to get there with. He's arrived at Tokyo U, but until he wins Naru over, he's pretty much alone. He still cares for her, but he has to make something of himself to prove to the girls, as well as himself, that he is truely worthy. In Keitaro's mind, getting into Tokyo U was just a fluke-he's not really entitled to go there. Because he feels this, he also feels he isn't adequate enough for Naru.
Gad…kinda reminds me of myself.

why are you even focusing on the anime? The manga is sooooooooooo much better than the anime. The anime always fucks things up by having wierd side storys like that creepy doll that came to life and that stalker dude of Narus. Seriously the manga is ever so much better

Really now? Alright. I'll take your word for it.

I've only got Volume 1.You didn't like Kentaro? I thought that he was pretty much the ONLY redeeming quality present in that filthy anime.

As I said, it's a continuation. Hopefully, Negima will follow the same suit, as the Negima Anime…well, uh..

The guy who writes both of these seems to spend a-lot of time and energy to make his mangas really good and enjoyable but his animes always seem to suck and to be put together poorly and not follow the manga correctly

I just saw this. It was horrendous!

Worse, Bandai, creator and dubber(?) of my lovely Ghost in the Shell, was responsible! This is an affront; not only did Bandai have a bad flow for the show, with different foci, anachronisms (in regard to plot), and character diminishment, the dub voices, however good, were annoying and inappropriate!
At least the outtakes were funny. "Keitaro? He'd probably just use me for sex…" Hahaha. I needed that after the massive concussions I sustained from banging my head into my family's stone wall.
