The following categories have been selected for the Awards. If something that you wanted isn't on here, well, tough. I held voting open for an extra three days for anybody that wanted to suggest other categories; the missed opportunity was yours.
Rules are as follows: All nominees have a necessary minimum requirement of votes to be ratified. Descriptions as to why a candidate has been nominated are not really necessary as you're more than welcome to campaign on their behalf when voting actually begins. For now, just nominating the candidate is enough, unless you really want to explain why you nominated someone when you did.
Depending on the volume of response, the number of nominees might be capped. Categories not recieving a single qualified nomination will be dropped off of the final ballot; in the event that a category recieves only a single qualified nominee, that nominee automatically wins.
The following nominees have already recieved sufficient votes to be nominated for their respective category, please consider another candidate for the time being as you can vote for whoever on the final ballot. If you can't think of another, please check the totals on page two and select somebody from the existing list.

Best Chew-Outs
Somebody says something stupid and promptly gets chewed out. This is the essence of the Internet. Particular attention should be paid to quotability of the response as well as the deservedness of the smackdown.
Best Debate
Simply put, which discussion featured the most informative and constructive debate between two or more members? In particular, any debate where you might have learned something from either side even if you didn't necessarily agree with one, the other, or either.
Best AMV
Self explanatory.
Best Moment of the Board
The Greatest Thread category, but distilled into only a single post that sums up the essence of Arlong Park.

Member Categories
With the exception of the final two categories, a single candidate can only be nominated for FOUR categories by a single person. That means a grand total of SIX.
So, you can nominate Person A for four categories plus the two big awards. Somebody else can nominate Person A for four other categories. So what determines which of those categories they get into to?
The person being nominated. I'll let you pick the four categories that you want to be nominated in if you qualify for more than 4D+2 categories. For the record, you have to be qualified to recieve a nomination in that category so you can't just arbitrarily pick something else you would rather have instead.

Most OP Knowledgeable
The person who possesses the greatest knowledge of the subject that brings us here in the first place.
Most Perverted Member
The Muten Roshi Award.
Most Profound Member
The person who provides the most thoughtful commentary on any subject.
Most Indecisive Member
I'm not really sure what this one means... or maybe I do.
Most Annoying Troll

Best Artist
Self explanatory.
Best New Member
The most welcome of all recent additions to Arlong Park within... let's say, the last three months.
Best Debater
The person best able to present their arguments as well as back them up in a convincing manner.
Best Writer
The member that best displays the ability to write; attention should be paid to presentation as well as content. In other words, grammar counts.
Best Cosplayers
If you so desire, you can nominate both a male and a female in this category.
Best Mods/Admin
This is a secret ballot, so no need to worry. Which mod do you think best adds to the Arlong Park experience?
Best Researcher
The person who displays the most aptitude for finding interesting facts about the subject at hand.
Funniest Member
The most consistently amusing member.
Friendliest Member
The person who goes out of their way to make people feel welcome to the board.
Smartest Member
The member who comes across as most intelligent.
Hottest Member
The person who most closely matches whatever your personal concept of 'hot' is.
Craziest Member
At best, this person is obsessive. At worst, they're thoroughly insane.
Biggest Pimp
Whichever person most clearly resembles that icon of Pimposity, Hattori, in coolness
