ed made several larger hammers appear and try to crush ken. but ken jumped and dodged out of the way constantly getting closer to ed, a hammer came right above but ken kicked it and it smashed. ed was dumbfounded

Man, I feel bad for the Yakitate Japan characters. Azuma had to fight Spike, and now the manager gets Ed Elric. Well I like Ed, but nothing beats the manager and his afro style (except maybe Afro Luffy, now that would be a battle). Also, the manager's disco action in that second Yakitate ending is possibly the greatest minute and a half of entertainment ever produced.

I had to go for Ed… FMA was my favorite anime until OP came along. However... If not for that nostalgia, Ken would have my vote for sure. Never seen or heard of him before, but he has an afro. Afros rock.

Yeah I felt that way too. Hire someone to find some good images and mix the next round up more.

The drawings were completely random. They only way we could have gotten all "cool dude VS nobody char" would've been to rig the drawings.

I think the images that lalala uses look good when he first gets them, but when they are resized, they lose quality. I use photobucket to resize my match pictures and they come out really good. I'm not sure what image hosting site lalala is using.

EDIT: lalala uses photobucket as well. I can't explain why his photos come out so blurry.

actually im not using photobucket. im just opening the image and hitting resize/resample. its true they are losing qualit when i resize them. ill use photobucket from now on. and ill get to the ending tommorrow. ap was down all day for me.

edit: and carter i'm not sure what you have against us. but if your just gonna be a jerk for the rest of the tournament then just don't say anything.

My point is that I'm not the only person that doesn't like how you're doing this tournament so singling me out and whining profusely is pointless.

I liked how you completely ignored Buccaneer's about knowing dick about the characters after you guys made a big deal about the REAL Howard the Duck in character. In the Dio vs. Patamon fight, you didn't even include anything from Part 3 (the BIGGEST AND MOST POPULAR PART OF THE JOJO SERIES). Dio didn't use The World or even try to crush Patamon under a steamroller, he just randomly took some digital rat's body because you just read a 1 paragraph summary of Part 1 off of Wikipedia or something. Oh, but we better not defile the HOLY HOWARD THE GODDAMN DUCK COMIC BOOKS. Because that would be wrong.

Buccaneer only insults the characters of the tournament. You actually insult us, the creators. That is why we have singled you out.

To be honest, I didn't want Dio Brando to win at all! But because the coin flip was in his favor, he did. I thought Dio stealing Magna Angemon's body would be an intersting twist. If you don't like it, tough! Working a tournament like this is more difficult than the One Piece Tournament. In the One Piece tourney, the creators already know everything about each contestant. How? Because all the contestants are from the same anime/manga! In this tournament, the Other Anime/Manga Tournament, not all the characters are known %100. Therefore, research must be done for characters that we don't know. Sometimes the information available for research isn't enough to make a completely accurate summary. So mistakes will be made, and we'd appreciate it if you stop rubbing them in our faces.

As for Howard, I was merely pointing out that he was comic Howard. People were voting against him as if he was movie Howard.

Even though Dio Brando now has Magna Angemon's body, he still has the same array of attacks. You will most likely see Dio use something from Part 3 in Round 2.

A sweatdrop appears on the side of Ed's head. "Bread? You're going to fight me with bread?"

"Not just any bread, this bread has been stale for months.", says Ken as he charges towards Ed with the loaves still spinning.

"Ok, this is getting stupid.", says Ed as he claps his hands together and turns his automail arm into a blade. Ed runs towards Ken with the blade in front of him.

The two combatants meet in the middle of the ring. Two chopping sounds are heard and half of each stale loaf of bread goes flying into the audience. Ed is now holding the tip of his blade to Ken's chin. "Now what was it you called me earlier? A shrimp?", says Ed with a menacing grin. Slightly trembling, Ken replies, "S-sorry….I surrender!".
