spybot + ad aware SE + spywareblaster. a cool set that should help you removing a lot of them.
but stopping lurking on porn sites will help you too

For anti-virus software, I use AntiVir Personal Edition. the interface is ugly, but it's free
If you have dial up, updating could take up to 30 mins, and the full system scan takes up to 45 mins. (atleast mine does).
For spywares, I use Ad aware SEPS: Don't blame me if they have virus heh~ XD
