And why is it that so many toy motorcycles, the wheels turn 90 degrees and become hover-power doodads? I never saw a motorcycle do it, and especially not while in motion.

I'd also theoriese one should hold off on the Bellemere. The military haircut makes her far less sexy than the other females in OP, so I'll bet she sells poorly and will be available for cheaper later.

They're about 7 to 8 inches high. very nice. I just got a Zoro last week (and am working on Luffy, it's great guilting frineds with money who never got me birthday and christmas gifts last year into getting me expensive gifts as a "2-year" gift)

Pretty spiffy figures. I really want a Villian line, with Kuro, Arlong, Eneru, Wnze, Jerry, the members of CP9 and many more. I would definatly buy a Spandam one complete with pet elephant.

When I was a kid, my brother had some GI Joe figures and a few toy weapons. This was back in the 70's. The figures stood about 8"-12" high and the artillery piece would shoot a plastic shell about 2" long about 10 feet or so. US made toys weren't always crappy, they just got that way after the lawsuits in the late 70's/early 80's.
I'm thinking Japan hasn't had the lawsuit craze or parents that rather blame the toy company than their own lack of parenting skills. Of course, blaming themselves doesn't get them money.

Well guys, let's not forget, these aren't really toys in-so-much as they are display figures. It's not unusual to find them on top shelves of specialty stores like Animate.
And the US has plenty of badass figures!! Ever seen the McFarlane stuff? Christ, Interlink6 is one of my most precious possessions and the COOLEST 'toy' I've ever seen (not including models)

Well, ALL the Ace toys I have (except the plush, which was produced before the Alabasta arc started airing in Japan) have the skull-and-bones tattoo instead of the swastika-esque one. So I mean… I prefer the original tattoo, but it's not as if it's a gigantic change to the character. I just see it as a matter of anime version Ace and manga version Ace.
