It's still in pre-production and Peter Jackson is the producer (not director sadly) and I think the guy who wrote 28 Days Later is doing the screenplay.

For some reason, video game cartoons are way better then TV shows. Captain N, Super Mario Bros. Super Show, Legend of Zelda (for it's cheese value) and Mortal Kombat.
I remember they did a live action Mortal Kombat series a while back but it failed.

No, I think Boll could make this interesting. Just as I thought he'd make the Halo movie better than the game. But in all reality, isn't this the kind of movie you would want racier?

ive never played DOA so i dont know how true to the original it is but this movie sorta reminded me of kill bill 1 which is definetly a bad sign since that flick is as rated by me a contender for the title Worst movie ever.

The tittle could be better, although it's not worth of fuss over it.
If this become fashion, the next thing we will see is "Ug." and "Hm." which could very well be about baseball and undies. And then somebody post a new thread about DOA the movie because he couldn't find a thread about DOA the movie, and a guy who would had liked to talk about undies missed the chance 'cause all he saw was "Hm.".
