RIP Those We Lost in 2024
-
Ah damn. That one really sucks. I remember seeing Richard Simmons everywhere in the 90's. R.I.P. Richard.
Now I wish we could have a Richard Simmons robot.
-
Dr. Ruth AND Richard Simmons in one day? It's like all our 90's friends are leaving us. T_T
-
He had kind of withdrew from the public eye a few years ago. I guess this was why?
-
Shannon Doherty passed

-
BREAST CANCER. Ugh. Well, at least it wasn't from an overdose.
And remember, gentlemen, boys can get breast cancer too.
-
Don’t need to tell us here that.
It’s the morons who want to do things like close down Planned Parenthood centers that screen for things like breast cancer that need this info drilled into their heads. Because they provide abortions without government funds which they also ignore.
/end rant
-
More people need to learn that Planned Parenthood actually does a low amount of abortions, they do way more other stuff.
During Christmas when I always do a donation somewhere, if it's not nature/animal related, it's always Planned Parenthood.
-
RIP Shannen Doherty. I watched alot of Charmed back in when I was middle school
-
Richard Simmons gave us some of the funniest 6 minutes in television history.
-
Bob Newhart passed away.
https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/bob-newhart-dead-comedian-1236077300/ -
It's been a long time coming, but man, it's still hard to believe that Bob Newhart finally passed away. I know he was really popular back in the day for his TV shows, but for me he'll always be Bernard from The Rescuers.
R.I.P. Bob
Incidentally, we've been getting quite the wave of dead celebrities.
-
Old legend. Bernard. Everything.
-
Rachael Lillis, the original dub voices of Misty and Jessie on Pokémon passed away.
-
It just hit me as I was reading this announcement:
We've now lost both voices of Utena.
Both were due to cancer.
And both of them were only in their 40's when they passed.
I'm absolutely heartbroken.
She was such a huge part of my childhood since Pokemon was my official starting point into anime and Rachael's performances as Misty and Jessie was so iconic.
I only hope that, with all the people that donated and supported her sister's GoFundMe for her cancer treatment, that she was absolutely loved and supported by her fans.
This is still devastating news to hear.
Rest In Peace, Rachael Lillis.
Fuck cancer.

This post is deleted!

Why are we suddenly losing all of our VAs?
-
Professional Wrestler, Sid Vicious passed away.
-
Brasilian jazz master Sergio Mendes passed away at age 83.
-
Man lived a long full life, but...yeah, it's still rough.
R.I.P. James. To the man who could make our hearts soar and also bring them to the deepest depths of despair.
-
RIP James. Thanks for all the great performances over the years.
-
Lest we forget another great performance:
-
FUCK.
Mark left him the best twitter though:

And of course you got the weirdos exposing themselves as weirdos.
-
@Johnny-B-Decent I'd also like to give a shout out to Field of Dreams.
I should really get around to finally watching The Sandlot now.
-
My first exposure to James Earl Jones (isn't he seriously one of those guys who you have to say his whole name every time?) wasn't Lion King or any of his other more famous roles. It was this:
-
I know its not actually Jones in this but...
-
Hahaha. A classic.
-
